June 27, 201610 yr Pundits rushing to give credit to Iceland is a disgraceful distraction of how bad England were. They didn't break a f**king sweat. Genuinely game over after 20 minutes.
June 27, 201610 yr That's the worst I have ever seen England play in that 2nd half. Ever. And that is saying something considering the last WC.
June 27, 201610 yr Credit to Iceland but no feckin excuses for Englands pathetic 'performance' this evening. For the 2nd time in less than a week I feel ashamed of an exit from Europe.
June 27, 201610 yr towards the end I didn't want England to equalise; the players didn't deserve a last gasp escape - they deserve to feel the shame of that performance.
June 27, 201610 yr Football is not rocket science. Key errors were: 1. Players being played out of their preferred position; 2. Too "samey" players leading to no plan B; 3. No leaders on the pitch (or off it); 4. No f******* effort from players.
June 27, 201610 yr Just ridiculous go a goal up and less than 40 secs they equalize from a silly throw in and then take the lead by poor marking and a save hart should make. Offered nothing after 18 mins I said it after Russia we will not go far we can't finish chances we can't break defences down and can't defend.

June 27, 201610 yr f**k off England, i will never get excited for another tournament we are involved in again. The same mistakes were made in the build up. We picked out of form players, we ditched a formation and style of football to shoehorn a player who's career has been on decline for the last 2 years. We f**ked up AGAIN !!! and it never f**king changes. Why do they qualify so comfortably but then turn to sh*t once the tournament starts? Bigger mystery than the crop circles.
June 27, 201610 yr Why do they qualify so comfortably but then turn to sh*t once the tournament starts? Bigger mystery than the crop circles. It's embedded as a football nation, we don't have the bottle for the big stage.
June 27, 201610 yr How pathetic. England's tactics in a nutshell: "get the ball around the box, something's bound to happen after that" Nothing but terrible crosses, awful corners and free kicks. No one wanted to take on Iceland players, they'd pass it around until they lost it. Too slow bringing balls down to control, letting Icelands defenders position themselves, too many balls that had too much on them so we couldn't take advantage of the few runs made. We picked players like Vardy who benefit from fast breaks against sides that over-commit (not defensive sides) and them compound it by playing lethargic football. What the hell was the point of bringing on Rashford for 5 minutes? He's a kid and you put him on in that situation and he played as well as you'd expect, hopeless runs, stepping on the football when he was in a good position... Edited June 27, 201610 yr by abigsmurf
June 27, 201610 yr Looney as per usual worst performer - captain marvel, midfield general, sh*t for brains.... Another fackless manager who chooses the team based on name power rather than synergy SACK EM ALL
June 27, 201610 yr ROFL we lost to Iceland?! England never fail to impresses at their sheer ineptness. Come on Wales!
June 27, 201610 yr Harry Kane should have been taken off and Sturridge should have played down the middle. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
June 27, 201610 yr I saw that Iceland were 25:1 to win tonight so I couldn't resist putting down a couple of quid... all I can say is thank you Roy, you useless bar steward. We were terrible tonight, even more bereft of ideas than the last game. I'm rooting for Iceland now exclusively.
