June 19, 201610 yr The white jersey is nice tho Looks a bit too much like spuds for my liking, especially with the badge. Still can't understand why France aren't playing in their traditional blue shirts though.
June 19, 201610 yr I respect your opinion, but Ronaldo is a million times better than Hazard at his very best. Guy's a freak phenomenal athlete with an utterly ruthless drive to better himself, would make most people's all time XI But at his best i think we could get more out of Hazard and at least Hazard would put the team first if we were in a jam. Ronaldo would still be taking shots from 30 yards out even if a better option is on. I would rather have it be a team effort than become the Ronaldo show. I'm not saying Hazard is a better player than Ronaldo, i just wouldn't want someone like Ronaldo in the team over someone like Hazard. Edited June 19, 201610 yr by Scott Harris
June 19, 201610 yr No way hazard comes close to a peak Ronaldo. I think Ronaldo will fall behind messi when it comes to best of all time, however Ronaldo has to be pushing for being a top 5 player. In my time sort of since 95, I would say the top 5 I've seen would be: 1 messi 2 Ronaldo 3 C. Ronaldo 4 Zidane 5 Ronaldinho Can't really comment on anyone before that. Very difficult to disagree with that. The only age-old debate one would argue is that attacking players always win these polls. Players like Maldini, Buffon, Baggio, Makalele, Thuram, Batistuta and Hagi are all unique and completely underrated. Defensive players like Maldini, who was a freak and probably the best defender ever, will never win such praise as best player ever. A front three of Cristiano Ronaldo, Ronaldo and Messi would be terrifying.
June 19, 201610 yr Switzerland have had nothing go their way in this game. The French have been very lucky.
June 19, 201610 yr Blatant pen that. Could be a huge decision. Edited June 19, 201610 yr by Blue Exile
June 19, 201610 yr Ronaldo really does deserve to be in any top 5 of all-time easily IMO but of course I respect yours. Bob, as you are his biggest fan a question on Chris Ronaldo. Is his Adam's apple the largest in the history of mankind? He looks like he has partially swallowed a coconut.
June 19, 201610 yr Bob, as you are his biggest fan a question on Chris Ronaldo. Is his Adam's apple the largest in the history of mankind? He looks like he has partially swallowed a coconut. OMG you're right! He doesn't have an unusually low voice, so it could be a benign thyroid nodule or cyst.
June 20, 201610 yr "Rooney is set to be replaced by Jordan Henderson, now fully recovered from the knee injury which ruled him out for a month towards the end of Liverpool’s domestic season, and Jack Wilshere will also be integrated into a new-look midfield three in which Eric Dier is the only anticipated survivor. The Tottenham Hotspur full-backs Kyle Walker and Danny Rose will also be given a breather, having illuminated the tournament so far, with Hodgson confident Nathaniel Clyne and Ryan Bertrand will have a similar positive impact. Mauricio Pochettino employed a similar policy of rotating his full-back partnerships at Spurs last season. Daniel Sturridge and Jamie Vardy, who were introduced at half-time against Wales and scored the goals which won that match, are to start." Seriously this cannot be helpful to have the lineup leaked ahead of time

Rooney has been decent enough, he can rest when we're out!
June 20, 201610 yr Bob, as you are his biggest fan a question on Chris Ronaldo. Is his Adam's apple the largest in the history of mankind? He looks like he has partially swallowed a coconut. You know I have a love hate relationship with Ronaldo he's by far the best player I've ever seen I've. He's such an arrogant prick in one monent then he's doing things like paying for kids operations the next. But even with that his talent cannot be denied, I have no problem with people having a different opinion on who the best player in the world is. But I have a problem when people try to claim he's not one of the greatest of all-time.

June 20, 201610 yr I missed the first 25-30 minutes of the France game last night. But I really don't understand all the fuss about pogba. Looked average to me. I have to say though, the pitch certainly wasn't helping him. He looks too big and doesn't have the footwork to cope with it. Still though, 100million?
