^ was having that debate with friends also. I watch some Serie A games & he isn't even Juve's key player, that will be Dybala. He is at most a £30m-£40m player. Henry was bang on last night when he said at present no one knows what his role is. Is he a DM, an AM or a CM?

He is clearly talented but if you are paying a world record fee, it needs to be for a player who is the best in his position. With Pogba you are speculating, so a £40m + £60m in add-ons seems more reasonable. You just know Perez needs a new toy & will probably do a daft deal like £60m + Kroos for Pogba.

Pogba is a classy player who will go on to be one of the best midfielders in Europe but he's by no means the finished article yet. He is capable of brilliance and for such a big guy he has fantastic footwork and can really drive the team forward.

If Sterling is going for £50 odd million then I can see why Pogba is being touted for £60/70 million. That's just the market we are in these days.

I still think Payet is France's stand out player

I missed the first 25-30 minutes of the France game last night. But I really don't understand all the fuss about pogba. Looked average to me. I have to say though, the pitch certainly wasn't helping him. He looks too big and doesn't have the footwork to cope with it.

Still though, 100million?

first 25-30 mins was when he was at his best.....second half he faded.

I thought he looked incredible and was unlucky not to score. But agree £100m never,  £50m absolute best I would say

Yeah he faded after the first half hour as did the game itself which was sh*te. Pogba kept slipping over!

For some reason I always miss when he plays well.

Gary Cahill is captaining England tonight. Bertrand comes in at left back, Wilshere and Henderson join Dier in midfield. Vardy join Sturridge and Lallana as forwards.

Great to see GC doing that,  following on from JT..

England's players are sh*t at finishing, they just keep smacking straight at the keeper. Lallana has done that about 5 times in the tournament so far.
