Cracking finish to a pretty good game. We need to win these next 2, with arsenal going to city on sunday, its a chance to put a massive gap between 1 or both of them.

Great stuff..,but this result just serves as another reminder how unpredictable this League is...Everton were total toilet and yet came back to win...hope chelsea take note and also take advantage tomorrow night

There's nothing ridiculous in my hatred of the man. He's a c**t and I will forever despise him. f**k him.

It's funny that you can despise a a football manager ,I wander how many times you have used that term regarding pol pot, mugabi, Chavez etc

Once again, Arsenal lose to a team that get stuck into them...first 25 mins, Everton stood off them and let them play...the moment tackles went flying in, Arsenal buckled...same old, same old

With a trip to the northeast tomorrow that normally results in very few points I don't want to get to cocky

Perfect result for us. We need to beat tomorrow 100%.
Its good Arsenal lose today, cause they will be even more motivated against City now.
For me our deadliest enemy is City and will be till the end.

For that reason i always hope they lose their matches.

Totally forgot that games were on midweek, what a nice surprise to check the scores to see Arsenal have lost. Must win tomorrow get that gap to six points.

Me too!  I was aware Shrewsbury were playing in the FA cup, so for some reason when I saw Arsenal were playing, I thought at first it was a cup game (even though I know really that 3rd round is in January, I somehow thought it might be league cup).  Was pleased to see it was 1-1 and then realised it was PL - refused to hold out much hope and couldn't believe it when Everton won!  Brilliant!

What a great result, had a good feeling about Everton's chance against Arsenal's make shift CD pairing, didn't expect them to get 3 points through. I thought Arsenal's flowing football came to an end as soon as Giroud came on and Sanchez moved to the left, not going to help his contract renewal if he plays on the left too often.

Hope City beat Arsenal on Sun aswell. Hopefully it turns out to be a good be week.

Draw would be the best result for us all round.

My post higher up the page reflects what you're saying, that it should serve as a warning to chelsea that nothing can be taken for granted...

by the way, re. the handbags betweeen Everton and Arsenal at half-time..,bet nothing is said about that but you can bet we would have been charged by fa again if that was us
