Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2016/2017

I bet there will never be a refereeing performance as bad as Ovrebo. And we got scant sympathy from the media, and sky pundits, notable exception being Souness.....And yes I am still bitter about that night....

I am loving this though.....Ha ha ha

now is Liquidator just a CFC tradition? I could have sworn win I have watched other matches that Liquidator was playing in the background when the teams were coming out onto the pitch.

From the liner notes of a Trojan Records Harry J. All Stars best of compilation:

"Way back in 1969, supporters of the Chelsea football team revered players such as Bonetti, Osgood and Hollins. The boys performed under the watchful eye of manager Dave Sexton to the tune of Harry J & All Stars chartbuster, 'The Liquidator'. Whether the tune helped the squad in their successful 1970 FA Cup campaign and subsequent Cup Winners Cup victory we shall never know. One thing is certain the theme to those victories was undoubtedly 'The Liquidator', with its Hammond organ crescendos that lead to the chant of "CHEL-SEA!"."

Keown on the performance from Arsenal tonight "They have given their all but have been let down by the officials"...........No, the officials got EVERYTHING right, and the performance has been poor. I know they are down to 10 men, but they have got another spanking. At least go defensive and try and avoid embarrassment.

If that's their 'all' they belong in league 2. f**king shambles. f**king wage thiefs. Hope it continues.

never thought I'd see the day where I pitied Arsenal fans but today is that day & I suspect that if there was any remaining doubts at Board level concerning Wenger's future at the club at season's end then surely those have been dispelled tonite.

I usually smirk and enjoy when rivals get a good thrashing... but I actually feel a bit with these poor blud-fams. Bayern didn't even use lubricant, hard and dry straight up the arse.

I don't usually stick up for refs but on BT they are completely wrong about him. What has he got wrong tonight ? This is just bitterness. Arsenal lost fair and square, they were battered 10-2 on aggregate. Blaming the ref shouldn't even come into people's thoughts.

I didn't either get what was wrong. I missed the penalty shout, the red was perhaps a bit harsh but if you've decided to punish that it is a red since he was the last person between Lewandowski and the goalie. If a ref is corrected by his assistant, why is that bad? We've seen that happen numerous times before

I don't.

What you need to remember is that they would never feel the same way for your club. Don't forget, they have been taking the piss out of your club since Ferguson left.

They are forever talking sh*t about Chelsea and us fans so they will never get any sympathy from me. I will continue to laugh at their bitterness and jealousy.

Exactly, it's really annoying me. They've got the replays right there. It was not a penalty for Arsenal, he played the ball before there was any contact with the forward.

As for the red card, they need to look at the law change as I'm adamant it has to be a genuine attempt to play the ball, Koscielny didn't make an attempt to play the ball he just pushed Lewandowski over.

The last goal definitely wasn't offside either as it was Costa who went after the ball from the original balls.

I didn't think the officials got anything terribly wrong in fact they got the key decisions spot on, provided the rule about red cards is a genuine attempt to play the ball.

It's just English media trying to save face for an English club. Hopefully means Sanchez will want out in the summer, straight to us !

I expected a respectful 1:1 for the Arsenal Vs Bayern, but that was beyond a joke. If that was a boxing match, the referee should have stopped the game after Bayern went 2:1 up. Like the Troopz said  - it's f* over, Bluz. The Germans do have a sense of humour, on a night it's all about Wenger, they managed to protest about the ticket price. I wouldn't complain paying extra to see my team wins 5:1 in a CL knock out game. Anyone seen Cluade? I hope the poor man is ok

Zlatan will get the much needed break he's after, I'm sure Jose would play him every minute for the rest of the season.

I'd like to think of myself as the bigger man here... :laugh2:

I rarely feel sorry for other fans, except on the last day of the season at relegation time (sometimes, depending who the club is obviously).

Tonight is absolutely 100% no exception.
