There next league match is away to palace which will be a much tougher match Sam will be looking to do the same similar to what he did against us and arsenal

spurs will win easy against palace...you mark my words

For f**k's sake!

Palace must kick the living sh*t out of Tottenham to make up for their sins over the years.

I will be doing my part by putting Kane and Alli in my fantasy team.

Really starting to think that the loss to palace might just have cost us the league title...just cannot see spuds dropping points now no matter how much we say that there gonna bottle it...:face_palm:

Enough of all the defeatist stuff. We can lose 2 and still be in front and they have to win every game. The title is in our own hands, we have a team of champions and the best coach in Europe.

Come on Chelsea, bring it home to the Bridge.

We just have to concentrate on our own matches and performances and as long as we are getting the results in doesn't matter what Spurs do. They have their hardest matches to come. We are having ours now and over the next few weeks. Even a draw would be a decent enough result away to Utd in my opinion. A win though would leave us with one hand on the trophy.

FFS get a grip! How can you be this wobbled from essentially 7 points ahead? The mood in this thread the last few pages is utterly confusing. You'd think we were 1 point behind Fergie's 08 United with the way you lot are almost crying. Christ.

So Spurs win yet another game they were obviously going to win and some on here have a meltdown...did you really think Bournemouth or Watford last week would do us a favour? Even if we draw tomorrow, we're five points clear...Spurs still under pressure to keep winning every game

There are people actually stating that we are only top, because of our win streak, I'm still trying to figure out how that is a negative? A great win streak that we should be proud of, is apparently a bad thing and Spurs have been better that us, despite comfortable fixtures recently. People hate us so much, they just talk gibberish.

I don't even know how this is so hard to understand. Whose position would we rather be in? Ours or Spurs'?

And no matter what it looks like....it's still Spurs ffs! Why are so many people flustered? They'll throw a game away soon.

Even if they do, we don't have to win our remaining matches to see out the title. We havea lot of room for error. They don't.

The panicked should look at the form guide for away fixtures. Spurs have 4 away games left.

Spurs last 6 way games : won 3 drawn 2 lost 1.  They've won 6 out of 15 away games this season.

Spurs will drop points without doubt.

im pretty sure they will drop points in either of their two upcoming games

palace A

arsenal H

we we just need to pick up 15 points from our next 7. Providing that Spurs are perfect with their results.

It's funny really, because if it wasn't for Tottenham's current win streak, then we would have this title already wrapped up. So if they are going to play down our win streak, then we should be doing the same with Tottenham's too.

It's a stupid thing to criticise a team for anyway. They are basically saying we are only in the position we are in now because we are consistent......like that is supposed to be a bad thing :laugh2:

Personally the way they are playing I don't see them caving in; they look a lot different than last years team in terms of confidence....Arsenal are sh*te and so are Utd at the moment despite both will be fighting for a top 4 spot so they can't be relied upon to stave off the challenge. I can't see Palace doing us any favours either...the only points they might drop perhaps will be a rejuvenated Leicester.  We need to turn up every game - would like a win tomorrow but gut tells me a draw wouldn't be a disaster...but it will give Spurs hope....in a period of a month our lead could be cut in half with some tricky away fixtures to come.

You have to remember that right now the pressure is completely off Spurs. They're not expected to catch us so they can just go out and enjoy their football.

If they close the gap, then you'll see a different Spurs because the nerves will start creeping in.

They've got Arsenal, Man United coming up plus West Ham and Palace away. Those four teams won't just roll over and have their bellies tickled and they'll almost certainly drop points in one or more of those fixtures.

Spurs have proven over and over again that they will roll over for United and Arsenal. United already beat them once this season. They also have to play West Ham. Spurs have won 7 straight. To "keep the pressure" or take advantage if we slip up, they'd have to win 13 straight to close out the season, matching the record we reached earlier this season. They're not going to do that. Period.

How the f**k are we getting rattled by Tottenham? You all realise it's Tottenham, right? The same team who came third in a two-horse race? The team who got destroyed in a battle for the league title by Leicester? The same Leicester who have Danny Simpson in their first team?
