Michy looks great, he just needs more chances . Costa is on fire and he can't be dropped at the moment but a forward two would do nicely.

I wonder if we'll start any games with both he and Costa up front this season.

I think he plays better whenever he is playing behind Costa. But am not yet convinced he is good enough when he is the sole striker.

In fairness, if you're going to make up a Chelsea rumour then there are 2 options which are pretty believable.

Option 1) Chelsea are sending player X on loan, joining the other 34257 loanees.

Option 2) Chelsea manager on brink of the sack

Yeah, we should really be thinking about ditching our only other recognized striker in the squad and letting Costa take the reigns for every match. Really, really good idea...

He needs chances but true, it's hard to push Costa out for him. This is Diego's team.

Too many click baits article around. I really think he's ready now but it's hard to choose who to drop for him.

With Costa's record of injuries and suspensions, it is almost without doubt that Batshuayi will get a run of games in the starting XI at some point.

I wouldn't worry too much yet, we're only two months into his first season here and there are also [hopefully] plenty of cup fixtures to come. His time will come.

I think he's got somthing special about him, quick, powerful and not scared to try things add to that he seems to have a real character about him. We have to make this one work for me 

Costa is on 4 yellow cards already isn't he? one more and Batshuayi gets his chance.

Great guy but needs to take his chances better when he gets them. Been a bit of a letdown every time he's started for me.

Him and calobah have a friendship going. And now looks like him and hazard are great friends. Hope this transports into the game and if so their link up may be amazing.

Agree. Costa's form has been magnificent this season and due to the lack of mid-week games this year Michy's opportunities have been limited.

He just needs to remain patient, work hard in training and the opportunity and rewards will come eventually. He definitely has the talent to be a good player for us on a regular basis.

Seems to play his best when both Costa and he are on the pitch. Recent games (despite the minimal minutes) haven't been impressive. Early days though

Conte will probably play Pedro up top if Costa is unavailable. Seems Bats has slid down the pecking order.

What indication have you got that suggests that? 

We only have one game a week and Costa is in the best form he has been with us save for his first two months, dropping him for a league game right now would be suicide and risks breaking our momentum.

Started well but has fallen off and I think conte probably doesn't trust him anymore. Needs to get off social media and start concentrating on his game.

He's got good motor but the chances aren't there yet. He needs to play on loan.
