That's if your football fan for one season. That doesn't make sense. Everyone knows JT is the best premier league defender ever.

at the same time everyone knows Luiz can't defend for sh*t and the money Chelsea got for him had every Chelsea fan laughing.

He might be a better defender now and more mature but that can't be judged in a French league which is won by Christmas.

The point is every defender makes mistakes, David Luiz's mistakes are just amplified more than others.

Still doesn't make sense. There's a complete difference between Terry and Luiz. Club legend who has given his body for the club.

Wow this came out of nowhere, Love the guy but quite worried this could be an expensive panic buy mistake. Was delighted to get the £50m for him before hand, to sign him now at 29 years old doesn't make too much sense to me but there really is a severe lack of quality defenders about so it is difficult.

I saw a totally different Luiz who was Chelsea's weakest link, where the opposition would know this and target him. Defensively he is poor. Offensively  brilliant. In a 3 man defence it might work.

Last time he was slaughtered from media was against barca champions league, suarez megged him..... And thats it, that went down as terrible defending, and people love to jump on the bandwagon

It's a pity we couldn't exploit his sh*t defending and knock PSG out the CL, rather I remember him basically knocking us out. He has decent pace and is powerful and imposing, he takes a great FK and Pen, can be used as a DM and comes up with important goals, his issue is he was very erratic, not only has he matured but if anyone can slap that out of him it's conte, I for one would welcome this give the current state of affairs, he makes us a better team than we are now.

No, i meant thats it as in, the nutmeg was the reason for that certain slaughtering from the media,put it this way, ivanovic made more mistakes last season than luiz probably did in his whole time with us, sergio ramos,who most (myself included) think is one of the best around, does similar stuff alot aswel

What can't be ignored here is our complete desperation. The window is about to close and we have resorted to bidding (and looking like failing) for a player we deemed surplus 2 seasons ago. 

Once again we seem to be in a complete panic by not getting our business done early doors.

I'd rather give a chance to one of our youngsters than bring this guy back. He was wonderful as a person but as a defender really poor, I see no reason in bringing him back he doesn't improve us enough to make us slap 30 mil on him. Extremely bad business, something is completely wrong at the club and needs to be fixed it's already been over 2 seasons of this sh*t. Some of the worst managing I've seen in those last 2 years.

Me and my mate used to call Luiz the 'wildcard' because you never knew what the f**k he'd do next. I don't think he did either!

Doesn't look like it's going to happen, not sure if I would have wanted it to happen, it's hard not to love the bloke when he's on your side but at the same time he became such a defensive liability that he spent most of his last season here playing in midfield.

I have no issues with it.

Football is about winning and he celebrated winning.

Wish more players did it personally, I actually don't like players refusing to celebrate against former clubs makes the sport feel sterile and vanilla.
