Quite enjoyable 1st half but unpleasant game for most of the 2nd half.. The gameplan on the 2nd half and the kind of subs conte made just sums it up for conte, a small team mentality kind of manager..

1st half, 3-nil victory and a clean sheet were the positives..  no idea what the V-sign both costa & hazard made during goal celebration means?  and also that finger rolling sign that costa made? did he ask for substitution??

Well aren't you a joy!!

The only positive in your post was that the first half was quite enjoyable, that's it. The rest of it was full of negatives. You go on to complain about the manager, calling him small team mentality kind of manager. Why not focus on the positives like how he has changed the system to get us playing better and got the team scoring goals and looking more solid in the past 2 games ? He's also the only manager to have dropped Ivanovic, something Mourinho and Hiddink refused to do. Then you have him making another big call by leaving a big player like Fabregas out of the team. Bringing on the players he bought on doesn't make him a small team mentality manager at all, i don't see how you even came to that conclusion in the first place. I'm glad our younger players are getting time on the pitch, Chalobah even got himself an assist, how can you not see that as a positive ?

There are no negatives to Conte's management today, the only people that can see negatives are the people that have an agenda.

There was a massive shift of play between the 2 halves, you can't deny it, I merely pointed that out.. The gameplan on the 2nd half was to sit back-hit on counter and the 3 subs he made were all defensive players.. The way I see it, the gameplan on the 2nd half is conte's main gameplan as we have seen from the past few games.. At the end of the game, there were 9 outfield players who you would class as defensive players, leaving only costa as the sole attacking force.. come to think of it, maybe that's where that costa's finger rolling coming from..

If you wanna have a go at me for speaking out my concern then you don't have the right to be fickle the next time we lost.. lots of people here when we lost, it's like the end of the world, moaning about lack of quality while in fact we have enough quality to challenge for the title..

Back to back CLEAN SHEETS .  I love the direction the team is going. A win against man u. hopefully 1-0 wud be great. i dont understand what people are complaining about leicester didnt have a single shot on target. I swear i saw my old chelsea.

You dont half talk some sh*t, 9 defensive players my arse. It must be so crap being so pathetically miserable all the time.

Absolutely loved the fluidity of our movement, accurate and confident passing, determination to win back any lost possession, fast recoil from defense to attack.  And although I am eternally grateful to Jose for all our trophies and great moments, I have to say I was glad to see no parked bus, and enjoyed every minute of the game. If Conte keeps it this way, Roman will gladly splash the cash on Conte's transfer targets.

Great game and finally I come out of the Bridge quite happy and relax. Ok, the second half Leicester had a couple of chances, but we really defended well and attacked with more danger than they did, so no, we can't complain about today's game. It all went according to Conte's plan and we saw some great football from our players.

I don't agree that the changes were bad and defensive, in fact in my opinion it was brilliant to finally see a coach that plays the youth. Chalobah was good and he gave the assistance for Moses' third goal, and what a nice combination. RLC his usual but maybe a bit bolder, and Aina not bad and he needs more minutes. Moses is growing and he played quite well, and even Pedro and Matic were good today. I am quite happy with today's football I've seen in Stamford Bridge, I don't see where some of the negative comments come from.

Much better performance, also proves we have a squad this season if you take away all the starters from last season that weren't available. You can only play what's in front of you , we controlled the game didn't show nerves and didn't make any defensive errors. Give this formation time. People complained about the second half, when Jose was here first time round we would sometimes close shop at 1-0 up. We still controlled the game, we had their best chance!! We went on to score a third and see three youngsters on the pitch at the end.

Just another game. It's up to us to make sure the only applause José gets is when he takes his seat in the opposing dugout.

True test in my opinion. Jose will be relentless and has a much more talented attack. We did well against a depleted Leicester and terrible hull. Excited about next week.

if Jose made those subs he would've been called "smart" and "adapting to the situation". not trying to mock anyone, just pointing out my observation

anyway, how good/lucky Pedro was on his assist? he (sort of) rainbow flicked the ball before delivering an overhead pass right to Hazard's head

Aina - Azpi - Luiz - Cahill - Alonso - Kante - Matic - Chalobah - RLC

Which 1 of those 9 is not considered as defensive player?? RLC? so it's 8, happy now?

As for the miserable part, look at the mirror, I could even imagine your face expression whenever you read a negatvie review..  it's sad..

We have to show we can play against a big team with this system but so far so good. Conte a great coach I think. We are lucky to have him. Luiz and alonso look good acquisitions.

This is the first really new system cfc have played in a decade and conte has valued energy, hard work and pace over reputation. Youth is the winner and cfc the better for it.

Next week we will see how much progress really has been made, but I'm sure we are on the right track.

Chalobah who created a goal from I side Leicesters penalty area, was that playing as a a defender? Alonso and aina the wing backs putting in crosses, thats a mighty high  defensive line then. So that makes 5, with one if matic/kante also taking turns to go forward. So I'll give you 4 and a half.

One of the best chelsea performances in a long long time

Actually enjoyed the game. Hazard started off slow but got into the game. the first 25 minutes were fluid and awesome. the movement was great and the link up play looked amazing.

Chalobah again looked ready to take the next step.

Moses is looking great, costa goal was well taken but his overall game has been great too. Matic did not look out of the place and Kante was my MOTM. Alonso looked great too.

Only negative was RLC. Simply not showing anything of substance.

Cant wait for JT and Zouma. Will be interesting to see who gets the boot.

4 and half? whoa, that's generous coming from you..  The nature of those players are all defensive but hey let's not let labeling gets in the way.. A game of 2 halves, that's for sure..

A good win yesterday. Moses looks good and the new formation appears to be working. Conte is a great tactician but I'd like to see that formation prevail against the Premierships top teams. Whether it will, remains to be seen. All in all, a good day at the office. Man Utd and Mourinho are looming. Let's hope we play as well against them and remain tight at the back. ONWARDS AND UPWARDS.

Ah right, so your one of them. Sees a player us classified as a defender on FIFA/football manager so that's what they are. If you honestly think challobah, Alonso and aina played as defenders then you have zero understanding of football and just see it as a statistic. Sad really.
