Chelsea Vs Leicester City (PL) Sat 15/10 2016 KO 12:30 GMT

Today's performance raised our confidence, the new formation gives us more attacking options, Moses goal is an excellent example for that. I happy with the way we played football today, we can go high if we will continue in that way.

Give it a rest. We just won 3-0 and you are looking for negatives, what kind of fan are you ?

an honest fan.. pretty sure I stated the positives along with the negatives.. did you miss something?

If Arsenal or liverpool lose we are basically top 4 give or take for goal difference, everton can go 1 above us if they win, we arent in a bad position at all, we need to beat Man U next week, very important.

Quite enjoyable 1st half but unpleasant game for most of the 2nd half.. The gameplan on the 2nd half and the kind of subs conte made just sums it up for conte, a small team mentality kind of manager..

1st half, 3-nil victory and a clean sheet were the positives..  no idea what the V-sign both costa & hazard made during goal celebration means?  and also that finger rolling sign that costa made? did he ask for substitution??

Leicester had about 15 mins of good play in the 2nd half. Also, how does putting on 3 youth players talk about small mentality? We were still looking to attack for the entire 90.

The only positive in your post was that the first half was quite enjoyable, that's it. The rest of it was full of negatives. You go on to complain about the manager, calling him small team mentality kind of manager. Why not focus on the positives like how he has changed the system to get us playing better and got the team scoring goals and looking more solid in the past 2 games ? He's also the only manager to have dropped Ivanovic, something Mourinho and Hiddink refused to do. Then you have him making another big call by leaving a big player like Fabregas out of the team. Bringing on the players he bought on doesn't make him a small team mentality manager at all, i don't see how you even came to that conclusion in the first place. I'm glad our younger players are getting time on the pitch, Chalobah even got himself an assist, how can you not see that as a positive ?

There are no negatives to Conte's management today, the only people that can see negatives are the people that have an agenda.

Thats given my weekend a lift. Great performance in the first half, our players looked like they were enjoying themselves and frankly thats half the battle of management. Im a glass half full guy so lots of postives ftom that game.

And here is sky's obligatory pop at Costa...ffs...why not focus on our youth, chalobah's assist etc

Well in this case they are right, we are playing well as a team, we are playing for each other, why is he causing tension with the manager, you dont talk to the manager like that, you force his hand to make a point or an example of you, and that hurts the team if he does as costa is on fire and if he doesn't the manager loses face, Costa thinking about himself more than the team there, he was out of order whether we point it out or those w**kers do, it is what it is...not on.

Costa was absolutely outstanding, pleasure watching him play today. Even when he made that amazing start in 2014/15 he didn't look nearly as good technically as he does now, his dribbling and passing etc has vastly improved

I'm not saying what Costa did was right...but it just seems sky want to have a pop at him every chance they get...if they provided balance by saying what a great display and showed some positive moments, I'd say fair enough...but they always highlight the negatives with him...

but given all the stick chelsea get about their academy, lack of English players and so on, think it's poor they didn't say a thing about it

A miserable one who literally is never happy.

They need talking points, the British media are a bunch of cretins when you know this as costa does you dont give them the chance.

We look far more comfortable with the 3 at the back allows players like Hazard who was terrific to roam around and pick the ball up centrally.

Luiz also was a monster at the back today, didn't give their strikers a sniff.

Excellent performance 3 points dominant display and a clean sheet can't ask for more, great start to the weekend.:good2:

Great win today, and 2 clean sheets in a row very nice.

thought matic and kante did very well in midfield.

Hope we can beat manure next week that really will get our confidence and momentum rolling on a high

That first half was absolutely delightful to watch...Every single player putting their best foot forward. Winning every contested ball, pressing hard, giving Leicester nothing, passing beautifully.

Second half started much more tense again, as Leicester came out with a point to prove in a new system. For a large portion of the second half we were limited to playing counter attacking football...which shows in the possession stats (70% at HT, 55% at FT).

Nevertheless, a great win. I thought Kante and Matic were superb in the middle of the pitch. Very happy with what Moses and Alonso did. Hazard and Costa were a handful all game, and we finished the game with three Chelsea youth players on the pitch. What's not to like?

Pedro's assist for Hazard's goal was hilarious, Chalobah's for Moses was spectacular. Great game to watch.

I missed this game unfortunately but from the highlights it seemed that the 3-4-3 is working a treat. I'm surprised Conte has gotten it working so well, though I'm not sure how JT would fit into it.

Who would have thought that Moses of all people would provide the all-action, dynamite threat down the right flank that Cuadrado was supposed to provide?

Spuds, Everton and City all only taking a point, goonies held on for the win with 10 men, good look for the table joint 4th and only 3 points off the top, 2 weeks ago we were going to be lucky not to get relegated apparently. Man U got liverpool then us and on 13 points, we are looking better than they are at the moment.
