December 3, 20169 yr really good game, we probably lose it 6 or 7 times out of 10, but it is city away- there's no shame in conceding chances or being in difficulty in this one. even at half time I thought we were well in it. not the better side, but well in it- we met them quite high up the pitch too for a lot of the game and to do that away to a side guardiola coaches takes courage from the players and a real belief in what their manager is telling them to do. you can see this side is developing, that is what is so good. conte is improving what we have, and a couple of transfer windows down the line this could be a side capable of giving the absolute top sides in europe a real game. I think similar applies to city too actually. the level at the top of the league is on the rise.
December 3, 20169 yr Their fans are delusional on Bluemoon. I'd like to think if that was one of our players who did that challenge, we'd all be gracious enough to admit it was a red card. I know there's some bias obviously, but I've read lots of other clubs forums and this is the only one where the majority of people seem sensible and able to converse without spouting bile and hatred every other word.

Congratulated us on the win and didn't blame the ref, can't say fairer than that. Thank heavens, thought we'd get sarcopep. 8 minutes ago, ForeverCarefree said: Yeah but that's just trying not to be drawn on commenting on the decision too much. Sheaves is an awful interviewer, too much focus on negatives from matches. Tries to get managers to criticise officials all the time despite knowing they can't... As I type this he's just tried to get Conte to criticise our players for their reaction to Ageruo's tackle. Will never forget him with Brana, loathsome. 7 minutes ago, Jezz said: I don't normally condone dressing room pics, but when I do, it's after we've just stomped all over the champions-elect by beating them 3-1 away and Gary Cahill is having to cradle his massive balls of steel.

I remember the Nou Camp in 2012, we'd just made it to the Champions League final. Huge night, against all the odds, everyone over the moon. First thing that idiot says? Tells Ivanovic the booking he got means he'll miss the final.

If it had been the other way around with Luiz going in they'd be calling for a season ban and a jail sentence. Delighted with the result, we rode our luck at times but we've had more than our fair share of bad luck and nearly moments. Another huge win, another great weekend! Tyler is a c**t, full stop
December 3, 20169 yr Great result, 3-1 away to City, who'd have thought it. Overall City probably the better team going forward but their defence is dire. Aguero has a very nasty streak in him. I've noticed him several times over the seasons leaving his foot in late and studding players but rarely gets picked up on it. In the first half you can see it in the slow motion replay that he extended his leg to catch Pedro on the ankle with his studs. Great player, dirty bar steward, glad he got caught out and hopefully refs will become more aware of him. some negatives about some of our performances today but let's just enjoy being top of the league.

He doesn't even make that many saves either. You may as well just put an outfield player in goal, he's that bad. Joe Hart must be laughing.

December 3, 20169 yr So glad that c*nt Aguero got sent off, luckily he is just weeks away from his latest injury as well.
December 3, 20169 yr lots of takeaways from this match 1. Luiz was astonishing. simple as. my MOTM, without him God knows how many goal we would concede 2. i'm happy Courtois put an amazing shift today when we needed it most. he slowly proves the critics wrong 3. Cahill's own goal wasn't that bad IMO, his mistake against le Arse was more spectacular for me. sure, you could argue that he should've used his left foot, but for a right footed CB playing on the left side of defence, mistake like that bounds to happen. he was unlucky 4. Fabregas' performance today epitomizes his situation: his assist was sublime, i'm pretty sure no other player in our squad can pull off something like that, but apart from that, he was non existent in the midfield, making it very hard for us to gain foothold in the midfield. Conte should've subbed in Chalobah for him the minute Toure walked into the pitch because it was clear Pep tried to amplify the dominance in the midfield that they had. however all is forgiven considering he got Fernandinho sent off 5. i always knew Alonso is the weak link in our squad, and today proves that. Pep clearly tried to focus his attack to our left side because he also realize this 6. Willian done okay i guess, definitely more so than Pedro did when he was on the pitch. one could argue he should get a shout to start the next match Edited December 3, 20169 yr by magichat
December 3, 20169 yr Nice to see how classless Pep was, refusing to shake Fab's hand after one of his players tried to throttle him.Not so easy when you don't have a team who auto win the league every year is it Pep?

Joe Hart must be laughing. The thing is though, since 2014 he has been better than Hart overall IMO. I think he may be having problems adapting to the PL and also maybe to Pep's style. Enrique's style is a bit more direct and pragmatic than Pep's.
