I say this quite a lot, but what does the FA actually do? They fail to put together a decent national side, fail to appoint a decent manager, fail to develop youth players which is the role of each club, fail to develop English coaches and fail to provide adequate playing facilities for the public. Genuine question, what do they actually do that the individual clubs couldn't do themselves? All you need is a Referees organisation to enforce the rules and a small team to workout scheduling. I'm assuming they must do a ton of boring behind the scenes stuff as everything they do publicly just pisses people off.

At this stage now I wouldn't be surprised if they were in a competition with the FAI to see who can be the most incompetent FA

...Hardly any benefit to us if City lose Aguero for a few games especially if those games are against our direct rivals (Arsenal & Liverpool)

Nah...over a full season this helps us.

Costa still doesn't have that yellow card btw.

I still see City as our biggest threat for the title, so them dropping points even if it is against the Arse and the Dippers will help us come May.

The slavish anti-Chels bias in the press is so obvious, any reasonable person viewing Fabregas tapping an opponents chin in real time wouldn't characterize it as a 'slap', yet that's the line trotted out on every major website and no doubt their print equivalent.

Costa is seen as the most dirty player in the league by the press, yet I can't remember the last time he tried to injure another player. Aguero done an elbow and a stud up lunge in under 10 games this season, yet it's out of character or isolated incident. Actually it was the referee's fault for not giving him the decision he wanted earlier, wonderful! I expect some fools will start an online petition to over turn his red card, and ban Costa for 3 games, for being Costa.

Aguero will miss at least 18.42% of the league season due to violent conduct.

Little sh*t doesn't deserve to be playing football and living a life of luxury...

I do sympathise with them a tiny bit, because I feel Fabregas is a lucky boy not to have gotten a ban for that, even though in his culture a touch on the face isn't malicious, it's easy to see how it could be misconstrued, if that was one of their players we'd also be calling for his head, but saying Chalobah should have been banned is laughable. It was a shove, not his fault the dwarf can't stay on his feet, if he'd stayed on his feet earlier when Luiz went shoulder to shoulder with him instead of looking like a sniper had got him, then they might have won the game. Chalobah did the right thing, he had to stand up for his teammate there, because that was one of the most vicious tackles i've seen in a long time, even Suarez and Costa never did anything so dangerous to another player, for all their reputations

They have drawn their last 4 home games with him on the pitch, brilliant player, but i think he's started a slippery decline, expect to see more of his viscous tantrums.

All respect Peckham but this isn't that type of site.

Oh! and by the way if that's a hard on it's not just his shooting that needs to improve.

Why am I even replying to this?

I like your style Andy!

You left out a player that I actually think if Chelsea had this season would be completely solid!  I don't know what Mourinho must have been smoking or sniffing at times!!!!

Filipe Luís

Press on Sky banging on about Luis 'foul' on Aguero  this morning.  I still think Aguero tried a shoulder badge looking for a foul and came off worse, especially the rear camera view.

Did the ref blow for a foul? he is in sole charge of the game, not sky or there beloved commentators. they are getting to big for their booties hope Inland Revenue take alook at there tax affairs IMHO they are bloody dodgy.

You do realise that Luis was homesick and wanted to return to Spain.

It's a pity he left, but he pined for a return to Atletico Madrid and we granted him that wish.

So Conte would have caved into Lukakus demands to be number one and abandoned the pursuit of Costa.

Well said. The cancer is well and truly ridden from this club.
