Man City Vs Chelsea (PL) Sat 3/12 2016 KO 12:30 GMT

I watched the footage yesterday I think Fernandinho shoved Fabregas, and then he reacted by slapping him, and asking why Fernandinho shoved him.

I wouldn't mind if the FA changed their rules a bit to be honest. Rojo should be retrospectively suspended for his two footed lunge eventhough he got booked.

Let's be honest, if Costa had made that wild challenge, it would be being replayed over and over and it would be the leading story on the football pages.

Because it's Augero, it's being brushed under the carpet.

Same goes for Rojo, another wild challenge that could have caused serious injury if the player hadn't been so lucky.

i like watching these tunnel cams, while the fans are busy sending death threats to each other the players were like "hey see you at the golf course tomorrow yea?"

At 8:07 Kolarov is swearing :laugh2: Poor loser ::MooNeY::

He got a yellow card so the Fa would have to change their own rules again to get it changed.

Wouldnt surprise me at all if they did. I fully expect both clubs to be fined for the lack of control of the players, and I also expect us to be fined more than city.

According to Sky Sports Cesc could be charged of the slap isn't in Taylor's match report

how do they know that? i always thought ref's match reports aren't disclosed, are they?
anyway, i don't think Cesc was booked for something other than the "face brush", because looking back at the incident, i don't think he did much wrong apart from that

Probably booked for being grabbed by the throat and pushed.

It's what referees usually do, even if there is clearly one aggressor in a square up, they book both.

well that's just straight unfair

Was away at the weekend but kept in touch with the game via my son and feared the worst when we went 1-0 down. Was ecstatic to find out we spanked them 3-1!!

Having since watched the game I am so proud of everyone. Conte has been f**king unbelievable in turning things round - I have to keep pinching myself at what he has been able to achieve in such a short space of time. And it's brilliant that everyone is contributing - Fabregas and Willian both getting game time and having an impact. Before the Spurs and City games, I didn't expect us to still be top of the table so 6 points from two very hard games - you couldn't ask for more.

I have just heard Graham Poll on TalkSport try and defend Aguero over the tackle he made. He actually said that the ref should have been aware of past incidents involving Aguero and Luiz (past incidents that were all Aguero's fault) and he should be talking to Aguero to tell him to keep calm. What ? there is nothing the ref can possibly do to stop Aguero making that tackle. There was also no sign of that coming from Aguero, he just did it in a moment of madness.

He also said that if the ref had given the foul for Luiz nudge earlier in the game then maybe Aguero wouldn't have made that tackle......

Ok, so if Aguero doesn't have things go his way then making a tackle like that is understandable ? Graham Poll is talking sh*te.

Only four games for Aguero. Lucky as hell to get away with that. Clearest deliberate attempt to hurt a fellow player since Keane on Håland for me.

Dr Bruyne must have enjoyed it, in he walks with a hard on at 8.26.

All respect Peckham but this isn't that type of site.

Oh! and by the way if that's a hard on it's not just his shooting that needs to improve.

Why am I even replying to this?

When is the Chelsea v West Brom thread coming up?  Can't wait for the next match!  I am sure pullis is sh*tting himself already and already planning to unleash a triple decker bus!

Pedro has been good but Willian came on and just lit the place up!  I am now confused who should be starting!!!!

Imo, that would make it a hell of a lot worse. Moment of madness, ok you're an idiot have your ban. Deliberately looking for retribution like that? You don't deserve to be on a football pitch if that's your thought process. I get going in hard on a tackle maybe, but not career threatening stupidity like he showed.

A professional trying to use it as an excuse is unbelievable.

The fire drill at 3-1 was embarrassing, if I was Pep I'd have a word with his fans, Jose criticised us, but the majority of our fans wouldn't give up with six minutes to go, two goals in six minutes is hardly impossible.

Failing to control our players.......i'm struggling to see how our players were out of control. The only one that did anything was Chalobah when he pushed Aguero, i would hardly call it out of control though. The ones that lost it were City's lot. Aguero for the tackle, Iheanacho going mental trying to fight everyone because Chalobah gave Aguero a little nudge to the floor, Fernandinho pushing Febregas in the throat multiple times. The most i could see from our players was us trying to pull players out of the way.

oops my bad, I totally disregarded arsenal, I thought they're further away behind us but then it's arsenal lol... Well, at least the players won't be complacent against west brom.. My worry is when we can not be caught, whether the players would be complacent in that situation..

Let's hope that's a bridge we have to cross at some point

Interesting watching the brawl and the Fabregas/Fernandinho incident. Fabregas seemed quite happy to let Fernandinho push him over the barrier. I think he did it on purpose

Took one for the team!
