We are in complete control. Not attacking too well but complete control like the previous few matches. All we need is for Stoke to look for a goal now. We have missed Pedro actually.

Luiz played a pass of 70yds+ from box to box straight onto the toe of Costa, we ended up with a corner that Cahill headed home, funnily he was about our only player near the 6yd box in amongst several Stoke players but still managed to fight his way to the ball, a brave header from a brave player, Luiz deserves the assist imo.

Get in. A decent half from us and a good goal from Cahill.

We need a 2nd goal in the second to kill this game off as Stoke are definitely going to pile pressure on us.

Little disappointed with Hazard and Willian, I expect them to dribble, beat defenders, create chances, but I see that not that much. Diego as always, looking for the ball, working on the pitch and hungry for a goal. 

Kante has been excellent, is the best player on the pitch. Our defense is doing pretty good as well, I hope for a better second half, waiting for more goals and another clean sheet for us.

Hazard's been taken out of the game completely...

our short passing game hadn't really got going yet in the 1st half but overall it's pretty comfortable half for us.. azpi was the most stand out..

Stoke played pretty well in first half, did what they had to, second half they are gonna run out of puff 3 or 4-0 Chelsea. Willian has been poor and don't think moses has got a single cross in yet.

Hazard should improve but I thought the right side was bigger problem in the first half. It seems Moses and Willian compete for who makes more clueless decisions. Need to step up because Stoke's looking dangerous.

When he gets the ball, he doesn't have support. The only option he has is to cross.

True but he isn't getting a cross in their defender has got him well sussed

Pretty poor performance thus far, but we've shown enough to suggest we will go on with it.

 

Costa has had a couple of moments of great control (but has also been out of the game for large stretches). Willian has struggled to keep the attacks fluid (but that was the case against Bournemouth too, but he came out in the second half much brighter).

 

Let's seal this win.

Good we have managed to get the lead. We cannot expect every game to be able to keep a clean sheet so is important I feel we get a second goal soon like we did against Bournemouth.
