Maybe his passes aren't great, but Kante also had some bad passes. He doesn't need to go forward when he perfectly stops the opponent at the central of the pitch. If I'm not wrong our goal came because he stopped Hull's counter attack. Kante is more dynamic player, he has to go forward and he almost score on Alonso's ball, so they're both looking good. I agree that he has to improve his passing.

It's not so much his defensive side i have a problem with, it's when he is on the ball where things go wrong. He can often play a terrible pass from nowhere or he takes forever to pick someone out, he's slow on the ball too which just adds to the frustration. 

He's a lot better than he was last season for us, but he still hasn't got the same confidence he had when he rejoined a couple of seasons back.

For me he is way to slow to close players down, slow distributing the ball and also he has some shocking passes.

A big compliment to Kante by the way, he was bossing the midfield all by himself. 

Reminds me of a hoenybadger - you wouldn't know what a badass he is until you see him in action.

If Hull manage to score Conte will bring in Cesc. For now Matic is fine.

Could honestly see Marco Silva managing us in ten years' time.
