Tammy Abraham Car Crash

Featured Replies

We don't know the full details, but it doesn't sound that serious. I for one would be a hypocrite for having a go at the lad. Maybe time for someone from the club to have just a little quiet word in the ear.

I am just glad he is alright. When I first saw the headline, my worry was that he may of been seriously injured. That is the main thing, that him or any other people were not seriously injured.  But weird, I have seen pics of him on Insta with a Mercedes GLE and some other flashy BMW. So if he bought these cars, driving it without no license or insurance then, very silly of him. You got loads of thousands to pay for a flashy car(s) then you should pay whatever the amount for the insurance and should really have his driving license.

Read an article that said he faces a 5k fine and 6 points on his licence if he pleads guilty or is found guilty. 6 points on the licence that he is getting the fine for driving without? Whut.

makes you wonder which brain cells collided and gave the lad the :JC_doubleup: that driving without a license etc was a good idea? As for the owner of the car they should have the book thrown at them as well. Imagine the sh*t storm if this had led to serious injury or even the death of a third party.

It seems that he may have been banned for accumulating 6 points on his licence for speeding, less than two years after passing his test, which is an automatic ban. Bristol City fans say that he drives himself to Ashton Gate on matchdays, so presumably the club hierarchy were unaware of this.

Such a shame to see a young lad taking chances like this, especially when they could have had a serious impact on others.

A shame because he really does come across to me as a level headed boy. These young kids have all the money and spend their money on expensive cars which they cannot control properly.

What you said makes sense then. A painful lesson learned. At least he nor no one else was hurt.

Why are there so many stories about Footballers and car incidents ?

Can't they just be normal people instead of acting like twats all of the time ?

Well there are thousands and thousands of top level footballers, they are young, rich and drive nice cars. Obviously there are a few stories every season. But I doubt the percentage of incidents is significantly higher than it is with average people. It's just that nobody in the media cares if a random person is caught drinking and driving...

Doesn't sound that serious? It is serious and it's a bonehead move that reflects terribly on him.

driving without insurance or a licence is stupid but not the end of the world, 'serious' would of been drink driving or some other offence that carries a custodial sentence.

No, you're wrong. Perhaps unsurprisingly seeing as you alluded to doing similar in your earlier post.

He had a licence but for whatever reason has had it revoked/banned. People get their licences taken off them because they're deemed not roadworthy or a risk to themselves and/or others.

If you don't have a licence, dont drive! END OF!

Yes, agree completely.

Come on people, you don't have to be rich to do stupid things when you are young. And you don't have to be an asshole to do stupid things when you are young. As long as no one was hurt or injured. I'm sure the possibility of something going wrong was non existent in his mind. Eventually as he gets older, like every youngster, he will begin to see these possibilities more clearly.

I cannot believe most of you think he is a dickhead for this.

Because he is.

Age or immaturity isn't an excuse for breaking the law.

What he did was wrong and he deserves whatever punishments he has coming his way.

Yeah to get in a car to drive it knowing you are not permitted is totally inexcusable. Innocent people get hurt...or worse from these actions. I just cant condone that having a close friend who was killed because some arsehole was driving without a licence.

He's old enough to know the law, old enough to have his licence revoked and old enough to deal with the consequences.

The best thing is for him to be banned altogether from the road, he's clearly not willing to abide by the law or drive safely. Matters not a jot he's a Chelsea player

No doubt it was wrong and that he deserves his punishment but it is, in my opinion, no stain on his character at all. It just shows immaturity which 19 year olds all over the world sometimes display and they usually learn.

We all make mistakes when we're younger but Tammy did not only endangered his own life but more importantly endangered the lives of others.

It's not something to be taken lightly and isn't akin to nicking a some pick n'n' mix from Woolworths.

What he did was stupid and dangerous.
