Man City play Stoke on Wednesday. Sky said yesterday that match was their game in hand but in reality the game in hand is away to Man Utd. That was the one postponed.

Absolutely...who cries over a clean sheet at this stage of the season when it isn't over?  I'm not calling anyone out.   Just saying...every one of those players would give up a red card to win the game if they had to (OK they didn't but you know what I mean)...they're good with the win, we're all good with it.

We got to take care of complacency  that's all, we have a reasonable run in. This match says it all,  we could have taken them to the cleaners

Maybe not today but go look at the Arsenal match as an example. 100% his fault that Giroud scored. He switched off, focusing on whatever it is that was going on in his head.

It's got to the point now it's pretty obvious Batman isn't a forward Conte wants. I will be surprised if he isn't off in the summer even if it's just a loan deal. To sign for a club and never play is bordering taking the p***.

Good defensive performance bar the final minute, we do though need to kill sides off when we are so much on top. Wasteful to the extreme from very good positions... the final ball, cross or shot taken sloppily. Still 10 pts up with 11 games to go, we are closing in on the prize.

Well organised and just about enough came off in attack. Entirely forgettable win but every one's important, delighted.

Shout out to Martin Tyler's misery when we continue to deny him some glorious upset story to burst a blood vessel over. Makes these wins all the more enjoyable.

Boom! scrappy at times and poor goal to concede, but the three points are in the bag. Some very good performances from Hazard,  Moses and Azpi.

He's a boring commentator. Only get's excited when there is a story building. We aren't asking for commentators to be like Spanish commentators, but we don't want to be put to sleep by them either.

You know it's written into the sky contracts though so they have some end of season story to sell.  They will hate Chelsea winning a month before the season ends

He's not the first and certainly won't be the last player to do that, look at Delph, Rodwell at City, etc etc. 

 

That's football these days, sending scouts to watch players is all well and good but it's not until their in training day in, day out working with the manager you're really gonna find out if they've got what it takes.

 

I believe he was also signed before our change in system and maybe he just isn't getting the system.

 

So many variables as to why he could be not playing.

I wish we could go back to our match winning streak where we bossed games right from kick off and did not concede dumb feck last minute goals.

Those are the games that win titles.

The most one sided 2:1 this year, Conte must be fuming with the last minute goal, otherwise we had it under control pretty much the whole game. On a better day, we could have won 4:0 and really rubbed it in, but I'm contend with what we got. The last thing West Ham wanted is loads of possession and short passing around the half way line, and they got plenty of that. They just didn't know how to do with that amount of possession and always suspect to counter, it's like Chelsea vs Arsenal back in the days. Hazard, Kante really stood up, and I thought Cesc handled himself reasonably well against very physical opponents. The last 2 subs showed Conte already had United in sight, I thought another 10 minutes of Hazard would kill them off.

 

If, by some bizarre set of circumstances, I end up creating a performance-enhancing drug, I will call it N'golo Kanté.

Easy.The late goal just flatters them.As i keep saying we are playing really well as a team.Luiz was superb and we are deadly on the break.....UP THE CHELS !

I can't believe a Chelsea fan can say it was a forgettable game, it was a massive game against a side that always lifts against us days after our nearest rivals won, the pressure was on tonight.  We are now in the run in, we just need to keep winning, in any way possible. The fact their keeper was their man of the match shows we dominated and should have won by 2 more goals, at least. I suppose then it wouldn't have been forgettable.

Complete utter control. Not flashy but they were never in the game except when we switched off right at the end.
