This is a knock out game .. you cannot play with the same laxitude you have been doing in the EPL

Batman for costa,cesc for matic and we'll turn this around...

Oh and we 'forgot' to put the armbands on? Are we f**king serious, way to go to embarrass ourselves even more today. It seems it's destined to be a shambles from start to finish.

couldnt bare watching my initial feed so switched over to an different one that has martin tyler and stewart robson, and it's barely anybetter

robson is saying yes it was a handball 'but theres nothing alexis can do about it' so play on! also he admits that ramsey is interfering with the play only for tyler to come in like a crusader and say "but the rules say 'interfere' which must mean he has to swing at the ball so by the letter of the law its a goal!"

not that any of that takes away from the performance which has been sh*t but it would be nice to have some objective commentary for once

Obvious subs would be Willian for Moses and Fab for Matic. The Ox is playing LWB and Willian can run at him all second half.

Poor first half – panic from Moses, Azpi and yet Cahill (CL winner) has kept his nerve.

Odd chance for Pedro and Costa.

Think Conte will sort this at half time, fingers crossed.

With Matic in the first team next season along with his tugboat turns and no passing range, please don't expect much progress in Europe.  Must be replaced by a top class midfielder if the board is willing to shell out the cash.

This does feel like the United game. United scored a couple of jammy goals (one from a handball, the other from big deflections)

 

But just like that game, I'll have no complaints if we lose. We have been awful (just like in the other game). We are second to every contest. It all looks Arsenal are playing normally, and we do everything in slow motion.

We are lucky to still be in the game at the end of the first. We really should be down 3-4 goals.

That's the bad news. The good news is we have all of the 2nd to make amends.

I'm hoping Conte doesn't waste time in making immediate changes. Matic out, Fabs in. Kante is also looking poor of sorts which is strange for someone like him. I'd probably like to get Willian in, but Pedro seems to be making some positive moves.

Guys, there is still a second half of football to play yet.

Pulls just said exactly that on bien sports, whether they should be ahead or not is irrelevant they only scored once and it was never a goal 

You get to referee one FA cup in a lifetime, and you can't even see a double handball 5 yards in front of you with a clear view.

 

On a side note - to avoid the horrific "commentary" from Danny Murphy you can get the 5Live audio on the red button, and BT Sport have it too.

It is awful on all three to be fair, but the other two are lesser evils. 

From now on everyone, players can throw their hands up to block a clearance, refs won't give a foul for it because apparently that isn't handball.......

People say refs get criticised too much and their jobs are hard.......i disagree, that decision was NOT a hard decision. It was a clear handball and the ref was standing RIGHT next to it. I'm furious with that decision from the ref, it's such a basic error and there is no excuses for making an error like that at any level.

Yes but we are unlucky to be down by THAT goal.

Yep, forgetting to put the armbands on is unreal. I'm amazed we even remembered it was the cup final today and actually came to Wembley.

It'all take a while to live today down. Grim.

I just can't see us getting anything we look two yards off it, fair play to Arsenal they've dominated us. There goal might have been controversial but they should have had about 3 more so you can't really complain.

Awful. We are absolutely awful. 

Matic and Costa need to come off urgently.

Batshuayi and Fabregas on please. I'd rather get overrun in midfield if it meant we actually had a chance going forward.

f**king hell. The worst half of football we've played this year by miles.

Sanchez scored with his hand earlier in the season as well, it's twice in one year and countless times against us. 

 

I don't want to talk about conspiracies but I don't think I've seen a team suffer from so many WRONG handball calls in one season before.

Forgot to put the black armbands on for the first half as well. All this build up to the final game, the cup final, and its like the entire club was asleep.
