Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2017/2018

United could go on a run similiar to ours. That top 4 spot is no guarantee at all for them. If they continue with Smalling, Jones and Young, then they may well find themselves out of the top 4. Young is a decent back up, but not a starter. Same can be said about Jones and Smalling.

Smalling looks really hard-up here

How come this guy doesn't lead the league in fouls? We see this every match from this bum:mad:

Smalling is the definition of a bum, average defender who gets away with fouls week after week, the biggest shirt grabber in the league at the moment.

Win tomorrow and we'll be one ahead of Spurs, one behind Liverpool and three behind United yet we're the ones who are under pressure and need to sack our manager?

Interesting...

If your at a club where 2nd/3rd/4th is just not acceptable then the manager will always be under pressure unless your walking the league!

Yes, but to put things into perspective, we lost 4-1 & 3-0 to average Premier League sides.

We are playing like a relegation team at the moment.

well the Jose out banners will start going up at ole crapfort

@Scott Harris you're spot on, Pogba is the biggest luxury player in the Premier League at the moment.

Jose must think he can mould him into a world-class midfielder. I would actually like to see the statistics for Pogba's covering and how much he runs per game, he doesn't do enough to get the ball back. Playing Pogba in a two-man midfield is almost as bad as playing Fabregas in one, however, Fabregas at least runs and covers his position, he's just very lethargic for the modern Premier League. Pogba has everything yet his attitude is terrible.

Him and Lindgaard dancing and dabbing in the changing rooms two months ago was ridiculous, like genuinely embarrassing. If Hazard was doing that with say Willian and our team were 20 points behind our rivals I would be furious, even if they were doing it now.

Jose has stepped into an even worse dressing room than he had here, here he lost the players but when he first came he had & brought over very disciplined characters like Terry, Cahill, Azpi, Cech, Cole, Ivanovic, Matic, Fabregas. Now he's walked into a job full of youngsters who care more about their social media following than team results, I think he's really struggling.

Does anyone think they'll win the title next season? I'll be honest I thought Jose had it in the bag at the start of the season, but now he's shown signs of not evolving with the current game, he's being far too stubborn. No matter how many players he signs I can't see him surpassing Pep Guardiola here.

Ryan Mason has retired from football due to specialist medical advice. At age 26 only, sadly. Wish him the best of luck.

Shame, was our Gaz he clashed heads with too. I’m sure Hull or maybe even Tottenham will help him find his next career move.

So lacofthreat out for 6-7 weeks, just days after they sold their other striker to buy aubameyang...... Good old arsenal.
