Losing 3-0 in a final is just woeful, fair enough if it's a David V Goliath battle but Arsenal are considered a top side and have gotten ridiculous hype since they've signed Aubamayang.

Welcome to Arsenal Aubameyang, get used to it, because you'll be playing what should be the best days of your career with this lot.

It baffles me that Ozil signed a contract extension.

Nobody really wanted him, he really capitalised in Arsenal not wanting to lose another player after the Sanchez saga, getting a bigger contract than he's worth.

I highly doubt that, most teams would have taken Ozil on a free

The shame of getting done over two legs to this pile of crap ... :-)

Embarrassing, truly embarrassing.

That home 0-0 game against them was what done me in, we've bullied Arsenal for years and now we can't do anything against them when they were at their weakest.

The fact that no bids came in shows nobody wanted him, when it comes to taking him on a free that would be chancing on him and the wages would've been smaller than what he's on now

it baffles me why aubameyang signed with arsenal. dortmund have a good chance of champions league football, more so than arsenal.

He probably wanted to try the Premier League and felt this was his best chance.

by all accounts he wanted to go to real madrid for a while, but they never came in for him.

Exactly...how can we mock the arse having lost to that sh*te...indeed, after Conte has managed one win in eight against them...embarrassing

I found all the feel good factor over the arse in final days of January window very odd...so they signed Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan and Ozil got a new deal..

ok...none of the above solved their main problems/weakness - lack of decent centre half or defensive midfielder.

mkhitaryan has done fcuk all in English football at Utd and last thing they really needed was another attacking midfielder and yet it was sold as great business in exchange for letting one of their best, albeit a troublemaker, players go in Sanchez to a direct rival.

meanwhile auba, while clearly a talent, has a reputation for being a troublemaker himself at Dortmund and his arrival pisses off previous record buy Lacazette. Meanwhile you let Giroud go too cos he's pissed off over lack of first team football and you no longer have him as an option for the Europa League, made worse by news Lacazette then suffers an injury.

finally you give Ozil, who has been very inconsistent throughout his time at Arsenal (albeit consistenty crap in most big games) a contract worth £150,000-a-week more than hazard and he's 29!

Arsenal wonder why they're not what they were...the above is a rather big clue...terrible business...they were weak anyway and made themselves weaker

Really? You're baffled by a footballer accepting what, $300K a week to ply his wares for a 'glamour' outfit, live in London & we're he can go 'missing' every other game without being really held to account? What's not to like from his perspective? Sounds marvelous to me.

So Usain Bolt has announced he has signed for a football team. It is going to be revealed tomorrow.

Reckon it's us? I reckon he could do a job. He and Willian can race each other....

well he would have to change his style and physicality immediately. not a chance a 100m runner is going to all of a sudden become a stamina machine. two different sports, it would have made more sense if a mo farah decided to take up football and could play, but usain bolt is a short distance runner and he is in his early 30's already. it's just a gimmick.
