we'll never be praised by the pundits for 5 reasons :

1- most of them used to play for rival clubs

2- to them, mostly non former football players pundits, CFC = Right-Wing/Far Right

3- All of their darlings got outplayed in no less than 15 years in terms of records and continental success (espcially true for london clubs)

4- our style of play is not tiki kaka/possession or """"""beautiful"""""" wenger like/pochettino etc. way of playing ... (this one is particularly ridiculous considering the way we played last season and this year too but anyway...)

5- Even when our accomplishments are fully deserved (which they are ffs!!!) and bear no serious contestation, there's always a turkey f**ker like Erry Redc**tnapp who will say "next year is the real test"!

The solution? Only watch the game and ditch your telly for streaming !

Spend some time on the politics thread on this forum and you'll learn that Chelsea fans are certainly not right wing by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, I think it was only me and @RIP Mourinho who were the only right-wingers. :laugh2:

Bloody hell.....as soon as I saw 3.2 the scum scores the firth......this could have been awesome had watford done something. I know for a fact im supporting arsenal against this stinkin lot.

José talking sh*t after the game saying they should have been 6-0 up before Watford scored.

Sure thing José lad, sure thing.

United are a team that's so eay to despise nowadays.

Also: Spurs are a complete joke.

As you were.

I would rather see a draw in that game. For now, our league focus is top 4, if we can make a bit of gap between us and the other 3 chasing us then that would be ideal.

When does this dude not talk cheap deluded shait? Since he moved to utd and started blasting us and Conte, I've come to despise him........make no mistake about it, this is not the Jose we used to love and adore.

I agree. But to them it seems CFC fans are boderline right wingers... I mean everyone can believe in whatever the f they want, but what I meant with that point is that media like sometimes to portray us as right wingers in general... Granted, it happens MUCH less now than 15 years ago, but to some journalists, CFC are still a right wing/conservative preserve.... Which is absolute bullsh*t of course !! I know many CFC fans with thousands of different political opinions and ideologies!

Honestly, I would hate seeing City win the league just as much as I would United and that's the honest truth. City are the dirtiest team in the league behind the scenes, them and PSG, I would hate City to cement dominance here on out. They don't abide by the rules of the game, other teams will be penalised if they had City's transactions over the years. Look how much we've had to sacrifice by balancing the books, the transition we've had to have in building a team, City can spend 200 million without selling a player and nothing would happen to them.

Mourinho isn't really that relevant to me, he will win things, that's the reality, he's still a good coach. Plus we sacked him, he gets to go where he wants as far as I'm concerned. We've had bad blood with United because of our past, we'll be bound to hate City over the years when we have just as many battles with them for the title, it's just what happens. You don't just strictly enjoy each others company when competing against one another, that's how rivalries are usually created.

The new breed of Chelsea fans will hate City just as much as we hate United in the following years, I for one just don't want City bypassing FFP regulations to completely monopolise the football market. It isn't the same with Chelsea years ago, we weren't the richest club, we could buy lots of players but so could all the other top teams, now teams are restricted, but City are not restricted. Just look at Cities net spend if you think I'm bullsh*tting, then explain to me how a team who's won nothing for the last few years can go out and spend that sort of money with barely any selling.

Na it's complete bull sh*t, you can say a team like Liverpool is majority left wing, I mean they had a big Jeremy Corbyn display at the ground at the end of last season. And Liverpool is known for being a socialist town and a labour stronghold. As for elsewhere though not really, especially London which is incredibly diverse in almost every area. The majority Chelsea fans I've met are left wing, that doesn't mean Chelsea is a left-wing fanbase though because that's my complete anecdote. Obviously, I get where you're coming from, because of the racism tag we have they'll strictly think a lot of Chelsea fans are right-wing racists, that's the sad reality.

As someone who isn't a white person I've never suffered any racism at the Bridge, a blue is a blue! But I know people who have, and that's a sad reality. But it's not like our club condones racism.

I couldn't agree more with you ::clap2::! With all the stick we received with big spending, all the other clubs were never debarred from buying big too!! Plus, CFC never bought off competition (ie buying top players from big rivals) during our big spending years!! We actually helped the PL to become more competitive ! Now, with the FFP rules BS, City have a huge advantage as all the other clubs (including us) can't buy as much as they do ! But City were smart by recruiting guardiola : your club could be doing the dogiest deals in the world, guardolia will always be praised and the club he managed no matter what happens. In terms of PR tactics, City did at least a good job...

Read up about their Etihad sponsor, which is practically their own sponsor that they can put money into every season.

I agree. Of course, I have never experienced anything like that either. But my point was that some journalists-rather than pundits tbf- still portray us like that today!! But to a much lesser extent than 15-20 years ago for instance.

This is the biggest farce and I don't get it. I do in the sense thats FFP is one big sham but how that's not seen for what it is astounds me. Same goes for PSGs sponsorship deals.

Side note, were we this poor under Jose as United have been and it was just overlooked because he was our manager?

No, we were walking the league at least, United are all over the place as of now, I don't think we ever lost two games in a row in Jose's first two seasons if we lost we would shape up and get back in control. United looked very organised at the start of the season, but since Pogba got injured they went off the rails.

When City signed their 400 million sponsorship deal with Etihad, UEFA said they'll be investigating the deal to make sure it's fair, so far nothing has come out. I mean I'm not being funny but UEFA is just a governing body of FIFA and FIFA are the most corrupt bar stewards in the world. I'm also pretty certain it's the Qatari's who fund PSG & City, the same Qatari's who managed to bribe themselves a World Cup. I seriously doubt they're ever going to punish City, not with their financial power and pull.

I thought they've already concluded their investigation and found in favor of City.

Yeah its all fun and games it seems........until someone loses an eye of course.......

Does not matter how clumsy he did it....he knew damn well what he was doing but once Again the good people at FA saw fit to drop it all.

Obviously. It was as lucky as the deflection if not luckier.
