As it stands, we've targeted Drinkwater, Llorente, Ox and Barkley. I might sound entitled but that's embarrassing. We've been champions two out of the last three years and that's the standard of player we're going after.

 

Before anyone says anything about playing time, how many attacking players do City have? Well more than they need, it didn't stop the players signing for them. 

 

The fact is we're targeting average players which is a problem in itself. Mahrez is the only name who got me remotely excited and it looks like we're not even interested.

Our ambition it seems is a tier below true world class clubs.

we haven't strengthened our first team in this window IMO. Our squad is far weaker over all. That in itself is shocking.

Such a f**king frustrating board

Embarrassing we are in the final hour and Drinkwater isn't agreed yet. The thread on these forums was made 1 Aug which is when the fans / press got ramblings. So 4-6 weeks to get this wrapped up and here we are. It may well be strategical somehow (although I can only imagine leaving it this late rises the price) but if I showed such apparent incompetence at work to get something so important done I'd be shown the door.

Saw that and it changed to: he was having medical then left 

this is getting really ridiculous..

sky reports we agreed a deal with everton for a price in excess of 30 million.

barkley was down in london for a medical but had a change of mind and decided not to consider the deal and returned...

WTF?
