Guys lets not get too depressed..

We signed - Rudiger, Baka and Morata.. And have Christensen back looking decent... And we are adding to the squad which won EPL last season..

MU signed - Lindelof, Matic and Lukaku..  Similar players in same positions... And they are adding to the squad which was outside top 4..

Lets hope Conte can weave his magic again... I think if we didnt sell Matic to Utd it shud have been lot better...

We have 3 CMs (and we even play with 3 sometimes). We're about to enter a stretch where we play 7 games in a month. Stop this.

There were reports earlier that Barkley wasn't sure on a move to us so surprised that he got as far as the medical. 

That's definitely the press room.

He agreed personal terms too according to the Everton chairman. I think he may have also pulled out to get a bigger sign on fee + wages in January/June.

He most definitely is. He has played both CAM and CM for Everton and we don't play with a CM. At the very least, he was being signed to play CM.

In all honesty, do we think Barkley is good enough ?. No would be the answer if you read the comments. He can't play until about Jan, so he's no good to us as an immediate squad filler.

I'm not worried about Barkley, more worried about not getting a "fit" CM and another striker.

wouldn't be the worst thing. i am all for english players, but would rather recruit from within. barkley, apart from being english, doesn't offer us any more than van ginkel would have, or even loftus-cheek.
