Its a bad news because Iwobi always brings his A game against us

I watched some of the gooner fan tv today, their fans aren't too keen with Iwobi. They want Ozil playing, but if he is truly broke dick then that might be a plus for Chelsea

Personally I will prefer Ozil against us since he will be missing for the most part of the game but Iwobi is a NO for me he always play against us like he wants to impress our scout or something

Given what's been happening in the past fortnight, we must be aiming to win this game. They haven't been good lately, best players maybe forcing an exit from the team, and will be more fatigued than us comes to game day. We have seen how Liverpool ripped them apart, although we aren't clinical these days, we won't let a lead slip once we have it. I reckon we will play 343, Willian is in too good of form to be dropped, and Kante/Drinkwater or Bakayoko should handle their midfield.

Apparently Arsenal will have upto 6 players out so it could be a weakened team for them. Sanchez will start so will need to watch him.

If true, definitely a good chance to win this game.

You mean Willian had one good game against Stoke reserves :face_palm:

Come on, can't the guy get a break, he's put in some great performances and fairly mediocre ones but his achievements get belittled constantly.

I would say good form is over a number of games, not one good game then a number of sh*t ones, i just think to say he is in good form because of the way he played against Stoke's reserves is abit over the top. Fair play if he keeps it up against Arsenal but after one game a lot of people seem to get straight on the Willian bandwagon so at the same time its fair for other's to remember he has more sh*t games.

Stoke's reserves, league cup and Qarabag is one thing but i would like to see 5 good consecutive games. Pedro has more chance of starting IMO, created and scored his own goal.

With Ozil out I'd expect Arsenal to go with

Petr

Chambers Kos Mustafi

Bellerin Wilshire Xhaxa Kolasinac

Welbeck.                Iwobi

               Sanchez

Reckon they might go Sanchez up top for some pace on the break and to get in behind Chelsea. along with Welbeck and Iwobi there is some pace there, plus Bellerin. Arsenal could well rely on the counter-attack.  Expect Chelsea to dominate possession.

Ozil out is a huge problem for us. This guy never shows up in that kind of matches. Zero mentality, we'll miss him. Not that good but stronger and faster players like Welbeck, Iwobi and Lacazette is the stereotype we struggle a lot against.

Antonio must find a way to beat the Voyeur at last. I realise the draw will be a perfect score for us but still want the win desperately.

Is Lacazette injured?

I guess you didn't see that match last season when the gooner punked us 3-0 at the emirates - which in reality was a blessing in disguised - it changed the season for CFC & Chelsea became Champions!!!

Great start to the new years football ain't it? Liverpool and United win tricky away games. Spurs have banker 6 points and we get this game. Not going to be our week I feel.

Arsenal have only had 48 hours rest, we should be winning this comfortably forget the others it doesn't matter if we win.

So you only watched the Stoke game? Good for you.

Willian is word class and in the form of his life because of one game. No player is in form because of one game. Willian = inconsistent, hopefully he proves me wrong though.

With doubts over Koscielny and Kolasinac's fitness, I think Wenger will approach this match with trepidation. I've got a feeling he'll play Coquelin to negate Kante's influence on the game. Much the same when West Ham had Obiang sticking to Kante, when he got forward.

Well if you take out Kolasinac and Koscienlny then they may well park the bus. Looks a very, very average team if those two are out along with Ozil. Might be an Everton type game. Only thing with Wenger is he doesn't like shutting up shop. You imagine the meltdown from Arsenal fans if he does that. Starting to think it could be a 0-1 now. just depends if Chelsea score first.

What i'd like to see:

Tbo

Azpi  Andreas  Rudiger

Moses  Drinkwater  Kante  Cesc  Alonso

Eden

Morata

What i think we'll see:

Tbo

Azpi  Andreas  Cahill

Moses  Baka  Kante  Alonso

Willian  Morata  Eden

Can't see Cahill being dropped for a big game and Conte loves using a failing 343 against Arsenal. One good game against a very poor Stoke side should be enough for Willian to keep his place in the team, fingers crossed he can string together two good performances for the first time in years. I can see Baka starting this one to sure up the middle of the park, luckily he tends to have a good game against 'bigger' teams.

2-1 Chelsea.
