Next Chelsea Manager

  1. 1. Here are the current favorites with Conte included. Jody Morris is in there as he is the current youth team manager, and promoting from within seems to have worked for Barca, so why not us?!

It's not an accurate translation.

How do you know?

I speak the lingo and just listened to the video of the press conference.  Have an Italian translate it for you if you don't trust me.

Well...can you help us out who have no Italian friends and want an accurate translation?

ADL: "I have proposed some conditions now let’s see what happens in the next few hours.  My lawyers have prepared some text that has been submitted to his lawyers, let’s see.  Let’s wait and see.  I always say let’s wait and see.

Best hope jorginho does pick us over city cause if we only get sarri there is nowhere to disguise the compensation fee paid for him.

Reports are city believe this is a ploy by napoli, probably for a better deal. Trying to convince the player to come to us and that he wants to go to city,  as he told them a month ago that apparently.

I love what I'm reading on this forum about Sarri. Apparently, some of the not so great players in our squad (dare I say average?), well Sarri is gonna work with them and they are going to miraculously become brilliant.

f**king Hell, all of our problems will be solved. Will it be worth us getting Cuadrado back - even Marco Marin, 'cos under Sarri these guys will thrive.

No one's saying he's going to resign Marko Marin and turn him into Hazard, that's just being a little extreme without context.

However our squad isn't as sh*t as some people make out, we have a top, top spine (which we look to be adding too) and very serviceable players around the spine that can work in a top team if the strategy is correct, something Conte himself proved until he got distracted.

I doubt we woud announce a new manager on the eve of English football biggest game in 28 years, so as i stated it wont happen today

Still, let's get Sheva back

as you stated? this is what you stated on page 125, a mere four hours ago lmao:

"We have seen all these stories before I guarantee we will still have Conte come next month and come pre-season"

This "top, top spine", then.  At the top, Morata,  who most people spent all season abusing for his weak mentality and inability to kick a ball past a goalkeeper, then Kante, or Bakayoko (we'll  not mention him any more) then one of Cahill, Christensen, Luiz or Rudiger.  We don't need to list the dog's abuse two of them got  all season from our resident experts, and look at what happened to poor Christensen when he made a couple of crucial errors.  Thank f**k we brought our youngsters through, eh, except when they are learning their job.  Rudiger is the only one not abused.  Then Tibo, who appears to have split the fanbase, some thinking a great/good goalkeeper with a piss-poor attitude, some thinking he's not the next best shiney thing and has all the ability of Dave Beasant after he retired.

I must have misunderstood - it's just that some of our members seem to hold the opinion that Sarri will come with a magic wand and be capable of pretty much anything.

Tbh i was only really thinking Courtois-Azpi-Kante-Hazard (the latter has plays more centrally these days).

Then I agree with you about that being a top spine

From a transcript of today’s press conference (I couldn’t find the video clip for this one)

"Although we consider him an excellent player for Ancelotti’s style of play, and despite the relatively credible offer from the Chinese for Hamsik, it was decided to accept Man City’s offer and I will have to apologize to them. The deal was concluded 15 days ago after resolving various issues, but if the player prefers London to Manchester I can understand it, also if Chelsea pays him more I can understand that even more and there is nothing I can do about it.  Jorginho to Chelsea is not dependent on Sarri’s deal".
