the team are struggling because conte is struggling, what ever the reasons are this is turning into such a disappointing season, especially when you consider chelsea are the champions. I hope that conte is here next season and that only this time the board get him or at least try to get him who ever he asks for

Lmao. i think Morata will come good. He is just low on confidence

This offseason i would make strength training his #1 priority .. lol.

They have access to the gym everyday so should have been ok by now

First seasonin EPL - so seems like a player who is shocked by the strength requirements- I dont believe that he dives down all the time cos he wants to, I genuinely think he is not that strong. Also, he had an injury issue hence was missing a while in the middle.

Small margins today and we ended up on the wrong end of it. A couple of thoughts:

1. Sadly Andreas was key to the two goals again. Steep learning curve at this level. But I'm confident he can learn from this all.

2. Disappointed for Morata and us that he was flagged offside incorrectly. It was his only contribution to the match. I'm starting to really worry for him.

3. Conte right to take off Hazard in context at the time. He was tiring and it made sense to bring on Pedro to keep working without the ball and to give a threat in behind as United pushed on. Sadly they scored and made that move redundant quite quickly.

4. Matic showed that we were silly to let him leave last summer. He bossed the midfield. Why exactly Marina et al decided to move him on for a completely unproven Bakayoko boggles the mind, even if he wanted to leave. If we miss the top four this season some questions need to be asked not just of Antonio but of our overall strategy in the market.

Final thought is our match against Spurs in a few weeks is shaping as a bit of a cup final. At this rate we will need to win that to make the top four.

Today was Matic´s first good game in freaking months, he is still the same bang average player most of the time, with a few standout performances here and there.

Bakayoko is DEFINITELY not the answer, but Matic sure as hell isn´t either.

I´ve had enough with Pedro, time to give Hudson odoi his minutes, if Willian keeps this form, we won´t even have to buy another winger this summer and we can take our time to develop CHO until he eventually displaces Willian.

But i am so f**king disappointed and sad! I can´t even bear the thought of missing out on the CL next season, we NEED to turn things around, we simply cannot miss out on top 4

Moses sh*t going forward as per usual. I'd be tempted to start Dujon Sterling instead, can't be any worse.

True, he is utterly hopeless.

Alonso also doesn´t offer much besides being a goal threat and FK´s.

I want Emerson to be given a run now

Got home from the game in time for match of the day...already felt pissed off, but their biased coverage and post match analysis was an absolute joke...almost as bad as our defending for the two goals and morata's performance...anyone who watched that must have surely thought we were at least worth a point.

Shearer spent 5 mins waxing lyrical about Lukaku, then Jenas had 2 minutes on MOTM Willian. Usual crap.

But even Willian analysis was 'he was good in first half mastered second' which wasn't the case..he and hazard faded a little but we still posed a threat....most of that game was played in silence, apart from us chelsea fans singing of course.

So frustrated because they were there for the taking and we wasted the opportunity...but they still didn't deserve to win..also match of the day conveniently ignored how Christensen was injured in build up to Lukaku equaliser after clash of heads, but Atkinson missed it and waved okay on..,by that time Christensen was out of position...a big decision going against us, again..like the offside for morata's equaliser

MOTD - unexplainable how they did not review the off-side goal, FFS!!!!!!!

Credit to JM he did a number on us 2nd half yet for me Conte has to go at the end of this season as he seems incapable of reading what has changed and compensating accordingly. If he can't see this then surely one of his assistants need to point it out. So for me team Conte walks at the end of the season if not earlier.

Watching game back with a bit of fast forward involved...Utd's 'amazing second half' (according to Shearer, jeans etc) in terms of shots on Thibaut's goal, was lukaku's overhead kick and lingard's winning header..that's it...indeed, first half was Sanchez chance and lukaku's goal...problem is, both their goals were virtually unmissable given our poor defending (or in case of first one, Christensen' unfortunate clash of heads)

In which case, why are you on this site at all?

What the f**k is that supposed to mean? I'm here to discuss Chelsea, the same as everyone else. My opinion though doesn't mean I can't discuss the teams performance.

I felt we played well. Infact our last 2 performances have been quite good, but we have a draw and a loss to show for it.

Need to bench sh*t heads who simply wont put their bodies on the line (Morata). The guy is seriously getting on my nerves. Everytime I see him crawling around in the grass, seriously makes me SO angry.

You've missed the mark on my key point. Might have been his first big game in months for United (probably the best I've seen him play since the Barnes incident IMO) but that is irrelevant. Key point is that he was playing for United and we didn't need to sell him.

You're also a bit harsh on Pedro. He was bought in to stretch United in behind as they pushed on to win the game. Lingard scored, they dropped deep and made him redundant. Hard to judge a player on that.
