Those balls over the top to Long are always scary, especially if he comes against Cahill at least Rudiger has a set of legs.

Should be going in to the break at least 1 up. As mentioned, Southampton are only going to grow in confidence, the longer they stay in it. We have to be much better in the final third.

this game needs a goal, needs someone from our side to grab the game by the balls and inject some life into the attack.  Kante is the only midfielder we have that wants to drive forward

Not a great game, Saints look awful and Chelsea with all the possession but can't create much.

This is similar to the West Ham game where we're in complete control but just not taking our chances, we need a goal before HT.

Switch to a front two after the break, bring Pedro on at some point, who looked dangerous against Burnley, we should have more than enough to get over the line here.
