I think he has struggled, Hazard has been our best player so far.

Giroud's been a good target here. Done things like he should.

The ball has bounced off him a lot and his lack of pace is showing when the team is trying to quicken things up in attack.

crappy half of football ...Chelsea huff and puff and going nowhere, Saints happy to sit in and frustrate.....seen this type of game far too often this season.

Too sloppy and casual. Sort it out.

That’s it, casual I was trying to think of a way to put into words how we’re playing.

Its such a weird feeling this, wanting us to win but I feel like I know even if we do we will lose the final.

Tip tap, flick, trick, loose the ball, start again.

Someone take a grip of this f**king game.

Agreed goose. Too much individual play in the final third. Not combining or stretching Southampton at all. Giroud is great at creating little angles with his layoffs but largely Hazard and Willian are going alone.

Our defense doesn't know how to play out of defense. The midfield is almost non existent. The forward players play way to intricate, everything has to be perfect.

I just don't think the formation suits the players this season. I would have liked to see the same set up we seen against Burnley. I would love to see Hazard playing off two strikers, Hazard's brilliant when running from deep. I also think it gave the squad more balance.

Hazard and Willian are very talented footballers but we just aren't getting the ball to them early enough for them not to be double/triple marked. Which kinda makes sense to defend like this if you are Southampton.

What we need is either a) move the ball into Hazard and Willian quicker before they are marked out of the game. b) we need more movement and more numbers forward. c) we need our wing backs to cross the ball better when we get into the final third

He's doing some good but the attack often breaks down with him, still when we get that chance I'd definitely want Giroud to take it over Morata

I miss the days of having players who weren't afraid to take a shot on. Lampard wouldn't let a game go by without a few long range efforts. Ballack could do it. Essien could do it. Drogba would drop deep and smash them in. When was the last time Fabregas got the ball 25 yards from goal and had a shot, instead of passing sideways? This football is so f**king dull to watch.
