Even N17 has shown more passion than us this season, it is horrible. Do you know how much it would cost to get those two? Or just one of them? You have to be realistic. Furthermore, Tottenham never sells to us. Edited May 13, 20188 yr by Phillip

May 13, 20188 yr Conte is happy. He has sabotaged any chance we had of finishing top 4. First the 6 changes against Huddersfield when we had won our previous 4 matches and in a match we needed to win. INSANITY. Then this lineup against Newcastle playing Barklay who hadn't played for most of the season. No Willian, another return of Christensen which was a mistake. And our old friend Bakayoko who is probably as bad as Winston Bogard. Conte is a happy little spaghetti head with his actions. Truth is he doesn't care.. His mind games with the board have cost us fans emotionally. He has achieved nothing by his idiocy other than feck up our season. The Cup Final willll be embarrassing with him at the helm. Don't think I will even watch it. Mourinho will out think him and Man Utd will be the winners. Let's hope he goes after that and doesn't hang around holding the club to ransom. That's my main worry. We could have another season of this idiot in charge. Doesn't bear thinking of.

Just putting aside the racial sterotyping undertones here, which in itself is bizarre in a club owned and completely reinvigorated by a russian billionaire and having won all of its modern day trophies when being managed by a dutch man, a portuguese and a variety of Italians and having players that are constantly referred to as legends from all over europe, including granted a couple of great english players, and Africa, firstly what is the Chelsea you think you've been watching for the last 20 years and secondly who are these fabulous British players you are referring to. Part of the reason we have this influx of foreign talent, over and above the enrichment it brings to our game is the fact that these foreign johnnies when they first to our shores represented so much more value for money than the local british players, who were all being overpriced and over valued by their back-hander agents.

I agree 100% with you. We have big players who have massively underperformed, we have players who simply are not good enough, and we have players who have clealry been frustrated at the way they have been managed. Rudiger for me is one of the most honest players we have and i think it no coincidence that he was clearly unhappy in his interview in the week and he doesn't play today. My point has been that we are fans watching on from the outside. This is their job, their industry and footballers, coaches, managers etc, know the technical aspects of their business, in the same way i do about my business. If the manager's attitude and input is not totally committed, is not truly focused these guys would pick up on it and similar player to player would pick up if their hearts weren't in it. Therefore i think one can beget the other. Essentially if the players know the manager doesn't give a fck are they really going to put everything on the line for him one moneht before the world cup and the possibility of lucrative moves to other clubs or a lucrative stay under a new manager.

May 13, 20188 yr The football is truly pathetic. This is why I am not bothered if Conte goes or not tbh. Too many games away from home and even at home sometimes, we are playing teams much inferior to us and getting absolutely dominated. Today, then although we beat Swansea 1-0, the performance was just lacklusture. Southampton, we beat 3-2 but got dominated throughout the whole game until the 70th minute. Just dreadful to watch. How can Newcastle have 11 attempts compared to our 0? This is for a team that needs to win today. Does not make sense and Conte is sending these players out on the field and there is no football identity. Our defence seems to keep being exposed every game with this formation and when we play 3-5-2, there is no cohesion and just boring, pathetic football. The results have been unacceptable this season and this game just rounds of a list of unacceptable performance against teams who are inferior to us.

The players are not happy with him and that's why they don't perform for him. His tactics, team selections and subs are at times baffling and it's telling that no player from Juventus wanted to join Conte at Chelsea. They know what he's like and gave him a swerve.
May 13, 20188 yr Our top 4 chances were sealed with the "loss" in the midweeks game. This game is just the topping on the sh*t pizza.
May 14, 20188 yr It's obvious after 5 minutes that about 6-7 players didn't want any part of the game, should have stayed home doing their Sunday Roast or whatever else they wanted to do. Everyone else was waiting for Hazard to do something on his own, and the defence looked like never played together before. Conte should have made 2 if not all subs at HT, just to sent out a message, instead he let it drift like the other dozen games we throw away this season. I know he saw the score and thought why bother, but for f* sake, have some pride, same shoudl be said about the 11 players on the field. The bench players all looked confused, must be thinking WTF do we sit on the bench when the players on the field were trolling. The fans didn't deserve that, if the Club is smart enough, a refund should be handed out to the travelling fans.
May 14, 20188 yr Whitewall have you ever stood on it in the 70s or 80s ? I as i have said i have all different nationalitys and colours as friends. My own mother was southern Irish. My flag is the cross of St George.....guess i am a racist then !!!!! I followed chelsea every week etween 1976 and till the loss to the Mancs 4-0 in the cup final and proud to be a Chelsea fan. Our backbone as a certain portugese fella said MUST be English. Now why would he say that ?????
