Maybe you are right. AVB is judged based on his team went from sh*t to winning FA cup and the champions league within 3 months of him leaving.

No it wasn't, neither does winning a league title in which every manager in the league decide to start coping you make you a bad manager.

Conte clearly wasn't allowed to imprint his ethos on the squad or build a squad to fit his tactics and image and as much flack going towards Conte (and there should be as his petulant childish grumpiness will have effected the squad) should be aimed at the board if you hire a manager you have to supply him with the tools to create the squad he wants. And we have seen an unbalanced squad trying to play tactics that 'revolutionised' the premier league last season do it again.

You can't expect him to revolutionise football again so if you don't buy into his philosophy it will get found out

No it isn't. Willian has never had end product. How many times does this guy mess up the final ball, miss easy chances, fail to beat the first man with a cross, not take his man on when he get's close to the penalty area? The guy is great at bringing the ball out of midfield, but whenever it comes to end product, he hasn't delivered consistently enough. So often i will see Hazard and the striker lose their man and they wait for Willian to put them through but he always messes it up with a sloppy pass or he overruns the ball, it's infuriating. He goes through a purple patch every season and people forget the rest of the season where he fails to produce.

Mate, yes he has his grudges with the board. Does it give him the excuse to sulk like he has done and transmit it through into the team performances? Or do u believe he handled the costa situation ? Or do you believe he managed the available squad to the best of his ability?
