f**king ridiculous how so many teams in epl just give up before even entering the field against city.........its simply not like yesteryears, today teams go f**k it, we give them the 3pts and collect our sh*t in other games.......wheres the fight and the will? Yes city have spent so so much Cash on quality players all over the field but ffs where is the honour and pride.

The Premier League has changed, you rarely used to see teams give Premier League champions such an easy game. There are too many teams that don't have the fight in them to even try and cause an upset anymore. I found last season boring because of this, the last thing the league needs is to become like La Liga.

Burnley losing at home 3-1,

i can see them struggling this season. They have too many games with the Europa league.

I say good riddance then haha !

I'm sorry but PL has become a fckuing joke ! Seriously, how can huddersfield town give up so fckuing easily! As @atomis pointed out, it looked like they did not show neither pride or determination ... Shameful !! Gosh, I miss the World Cup already ... At least so called smaller teams were fighting for their fricking lives on the pitch and gave the big guns a run for their money ! In the PL, watch any City games, and it's the same old sh*t against teams outside of the top 6 : they'll try to resist for 30 minutes or so before crumbling and conceding 8 goals ... Fcuk off !!

You might be right yet a bit early for that they haven't met a team of note yet.

they will destroy tottenham and arsenal by 4 goals on both legs; defeat man utd and draw at OT; win against liverpool twice by playing so called "ugly" football (i.e, they will play direct football and counters) and will beat us twice too I think.

I also think Utd and Liverpool will take points from them and am unsure about us yet let's not forget Wigan dumped them out of the FA Cup last year.

They already beat Arsenal at the Emirates 2-0. The only team I can see taking points from City is Manure if they can perform a good defensive game 'a la Mourinho'. We can have more possession as in the community shield, but they will open us up easily if we don't get our defence sorted soon.

Talking of Utd 1-0 at Brighton though don't think that will be the final result.

Correct :P

It's like playing a strong defensive game is a crime to the game these days. These type of performances against the likes of City are needed though. This City team wouldn't have had it so easy from 2002-2010, I am sure of that.

I agree with you completely. I sympathised with how Conte and Mourinho set up their teams against Guardiola, a strong defensive tactic is required. But most people seem content with losing 2-0 but having more possession.

Rio ferdinand said chelsea were nowhere near as good as Utd (among others) yesterday...baffled me at the time...even more so now...brighton 2 Utd 0

He comes out with some fair sh*t now and Again........but sometimes he just spew utter horse sh*t.

And what a jammy goal lukaku just scored.....utd and their voodoo spells.

Terrible penalty to give away and incredibly lucky for it to go in. Time for an irritating week of pundits saying "third season!" over and over again.

Still enjoyable mind.
