Bit harsh, got a good squad and made some great signings to add to a team that made the play off semi-final last year.

Of course I was exaggerating a bit haha. But it kinda pains me to see Lampard anywhere else than Chelsea just like when our board sold him to City :face_palm:

To be fair, Lampard would have been a top player regardless. I think Mourinho gets too much credit for that chelsea side. Those players made him, just as much as he made them. That was a fantastic group of generational talent.

I think I agree with you. Lampard in the season before was showing all of the signs that he was turning into a top player. I do think Mourinho gave him that extra bit of confidence though and bought a steel to that side. He bought a winning mentality to the club which I think helped us for the next 10 years. I personally think Mourinho did the same for Real Madrid. His time there wasn't that great, but he bought that winning mentality back into them that got them competing with the best again. He's lost that now, he just can't seem to motivate players anymore, he doesn't seem to want to either.

I remember an anecdote from Lampard where he basically said, 'Jose looked me in the eyes before a match early on and told me I was the best CM in the world and I needed to play like it.' Probably absolute BS at the time but it drove him to great heights. Idk if he or Drogba would be where they are now without Jose but I'd bet they both credit him with turning them into the players they were. As much as he may love Chelsea I feel 100% positive Drogba told Lukaku to join Jose at United because of that very reason.

Agreed Jose has lost it but I don't think its because his motivation tactics have gone. I think the players he has recognize that winning can be done while playing pleasant football these days and they're simply tired of the way they're being asked to perform. Much in the same way some of our current players objected to Conte's tactics they are reacting to Jose. He lost it for me and I'd put money on him being sacked before the season is finished.

The club did not sell Lampard to New York City FC, it was a free.

Rio ferdinand said chelsea were nowhere near as good as Utd (among others) yesterday...baffled me at the time...even more so now...brighton 2 Utd 0

It's amazing the bias they have on Sky, BT & the BBC. that post match analysis was a f**king joke. Ferdinand, Keown & Jenas, 1 united, 1 arsenal and 1 spurs, how the f**k are they covering the match? Where are the Chelsea pundits? Jose was spot on years ago, the bias against Chelsea is amazing, they never have Chelsea pundits on. Ferdinand is bias, Keown is very biased and Jenas is a bitter c**t, all three of them did nothing but put our performances down and explain how Arsenal were unlucky.

I agree, I don't think they have been good since he arrived. They were runners up in the league last season, but I don't think they were actually that good.

I wouldn't say there were runners up, they just had more points than every other losing side. They were 20 points behind City throughout most of the league, it was never a challenge.

f**k em!
Bar Ferdinand the other two were sh*t players, don't have a clue what they are talking about [emoji23]

Let's hope for our sake Jose stays on and drag United into deeper mud, we may even call him Agent Jose after the end of the season  Any big team could trip over at Brighton or Fulham, what amazed me was they had 45 minutes to save themselves, but they barely threatened, and the last second penalty was just a gift from the referee. What's not Jose's fault is for the whole week  Linegard and his pals practicing some cool goal celebration on Insgram, pity he couldn't get the chance to do it in the game.

Ozil will probably out last Emery at Arsenal, he's retired from Germany, and looked retired playing for Arsenal ever since he signed that 300k contract

Remember when Mourinho said the United had the best fans? They win one, lose one and they want him out.

The majority of Chelsea fans were still supporting him when we were 17th after 10 or so games.

Sure about that, José?

Burnt a lot of bridges in all directions that guy.

I only see Utd on MOTD yet noticed yesterday they were without Sanchez and strangely had Young on the right.

Lukaku didn't seem to be in the game badly scuffed a chance and his goal came from a deflected tackle Shaw made just outside the box.

Generally on build up play we was standing between two defenders with little movement.

Re UTD think JM will get them playing better when Sanchez is back and they bed-in their new players though think they will struggle for top 4.

A club owned by the same guy who owns City though and ended up playing the whole season with them... But otherwise yes I agree.

Just watched first episode of All or nothing - Manchester City. It was pretty good and I wish we would have thought of it. I think it will bring them a lot of fans.

Pep is still someone I don't like. He doesn't seem genuine in any way. For me he is a totalirant who tries to look and feel hip and cool and accessible. Intelligent guy no doubt but not to my liking. Something is off with him.

My thoughts, great football motivator and tactician, respect him for wanting independence for Catalonia yet think he is in love with his reputation for being as the epitome of chic.

English football club Norwich City has painted the walls of the away dressing room pink in a bid to produce a calming effect and lower the testosterone levels of opponents.

He's a psychopath you can see it in his eyes...

This ref is f**king sh*te. Fine for Milner to clatter Zaha from behind but when a Palace player does it it’s suddenly a foul 10 seconds later when it set up a great counter.

Rofl that is a dubious penalty.

Dunno if people disagree based on replays but it looked like he just fell over
