No rest for the wicked though so I doubt you'll find your rest... Must have been hard watching tonight as Chelsea won while Jorginho was playing 😄

Chelsea win in spite of him playing most weeks. Really shows the character of the other players in the squad to play a man down and still put in such a shift.

This reminds me of those "Pason Pount" lowlifes, douchebags, pricks, take your pick on Twitter.

You're so dumb it really shows, you even liked a comment of somone saying for Mount how his quality is shown just by the fact that multiple managers still play him but when it comes to Jorginho you get blind by hate, I thought you couldn't be more pathetic but you set new lows every time you post a comment, tripple standard galore 😄

Difference being Mount has competition from about 6 or 7 different players. J5 has competition from Kovacic and an injured Kante. Played through lack of options.

Keep the unsults up, Gol. Really makes you look like a child x

Potter could have started with RLC at San Siro, instead he chose Jorginho. If he was half as bad as you claim he wouldn't have survive being at CFC to begin with and multiple managers wouldn't count on him time after time again so who he's competing with has no real relevance to his quality and to the fact that every single manager that came here automatically saw him as a standard player and not as someone that he can't count on shows that you're wrong and that people that know something about football are right. Nice try to change the goalposts but you're not as clever as you think you are.

You always say how we win "despite" him, nobody but you has these kinds of takes, anyone that actually watched the match saw that Jorginho was good, this is why I didn't care to insult you.

You never had an argument here, ever. And judging by your takes you never will.

Even if you want to make it look as if all of this doesn't matter, he passed to James that passed to Mount that won the penalty from which Jorginho scored. But you'll just continue writing stupid takes instead of seeking help.

Good to see Potter is seeing his weaknesses and dropping him for the much more impressive RLC now.

And it worked so well the most uncreative team in the league created a months worth of clear cut chances.

Clean sheet for the Chels and 2-0 win, didn't manage that against Palace with J5 starting. Was heading for another boring draw until Conor saved the day.

And without Kepa, we would have conceded 4 and lost the game. I have issues with Jorginho, but that midfield looked no better without him against Villa and it only improved when he came onto the pitch. Loftus-Cheek and Kovacic are a terrible partnership. The pair of them made it hard for the likes of Chilwell and Sterling to get out of defence because there was no midfielder who was picking up positions to receive the ball. It was up to Mount to come slightly deeper to take up the spots the two midfielders should be taking.

If that's the only metric you look that then both Chelsea and Italy have broke defensive records with Jorginho playing.

Meanwhile the player you want him replaced with goes mad when equalising against non league sides and tells England fans not scoring from open play in 5 games isn't a problem because they score loads in training.

Who do i want him replaced with?

Boehly has made the whole situation a mess by giving everyone a pay increase. Why we are paying Azpi a backup fullback £150k/w is anyone’s guess. Now Mount wants parity with James, Kante will want to remain on his £250k/w, and you can bet come contract negotiation time Kovacic will demand parity with Kante.

That's your own opinion though. You gave RLC a rating of 5 in your post-match scoring appraisal. A rating I noticed a good number of other posters disagreed with, myself included. I thought RLC had yet another good game and it's obvious to my eyes that he has so much more to his game than Jorginho does.

Our problems against Villa on Saturday stemmed from Sterling having defensive duties as a covering wing back / full back for which he is wholly unsuited. And Cucurella playing as the left centre-back and looking like he had never kicked a ball before. Auba up front also contributed to the problems as he played like he couldn't hold a party let alone a football.

Thankfully Potter recognised his mistakes and made the changes necessary, bringing on Apzi and Koulibaly. That was what provided us with some stability and defensive calm. Not 25 minutes of Jorginho with 16 passes in total and no tackles or interceptions.

No point talking to him mate, there is no hope for him.

If we're going down the who disagrees with who route then both the Aston Villa manager and captain disagree with your assessment, both felt they were very much still in the ascendancy at the start of the second half.

I would only warm to the idea of Jorginho staying if we bring in three elite midfielders.

Jorginho has his use when we need to control the tempo of the game. But he really should not be starting.

I'm all for finding an upgrade of him, however the idea that the likes of Billy Gilmour (at the moment) and Declan Rice fall into that category is actually quite funny.

Really? That's supposed to support your argument? That proves Jorginho made the difference?

The weight of your logic overwhelms me. I surrender.

Elite defensive midfielders are hard to come by. If there is one position we should be scouting, its that's one.
