Jorginho is.... (well now was) a Blue

The irony is that under Sarri, Kovacic didn't have a great season. When you do mark out Jorginho with 2 players in a 4-3-3, someone else is always free. Sarri was at some point hoping for that to happen, a fast 1-2 and the next thing you see is Kante running with the ball in the final third or Hazard getting a 1v1 situation. So no wonder both had arguably their best seasons when you see their end product.

Though in our current formation he basically has to pass to the wing-back or back to T.Silva so it's nothing special...

Jorginho is a system player, should have left with Sarri.

Lots of focus on other players in today's debacle. Havertz, Mount, Gallagher etc. Fair enough I suppose yes, they were all garbage. But very few comments, and none at all so far in this thread, about the "disaster class" performance delivered by J5. You'd think with his experience and alleged leadership qualities he would have been at the forefront of the midfield battle today. But no. It seems everyone has come to accept, (not before time of course), that this is what we should expect from him when teams play a high pressing game with lots of intensity, and we shouldn't be judging him on it. Ah, well. On to the next game then.

I suppose it's a good thing we have you so that we can all get the daily reminder of how sh*t Jorginho really is.

It's a bit tedious just.

You may even have a point but it just gets completely overshadowed by your forever ongoing anti Jorginho propaganda. Sometimes it feels like your entire presence here is about letting everyone know how much of a liability and sh*te player Jorginho is.

The funny thing is that we have seen Jorginho loose the physical battle against this type of teams countless times now, so Gallagher being completely lost in the midfield yesterday should not be used to explain why Jorgi was rubbish. Our midfield was bad yesterday, both Gallagher and Jorginho, but each for different reasons.

I'd quite like to see the tag team cage fight ... in the blue corner Jorginho and Pulisic ... and in the seeing red corner Hazardouschoice and Just 🙂

Place your bets !

he's right though. There's several posters on here that do the same, i've not seen you complain in the Pulisic thread to HazardousChoice?

Never spent much time in the Pulisic thread. Pretty pointless player that isn't playing much for us.

And HazardousChoice's opinions about Pulisic is turning into a bit of a running joke isn't it? Not sure it's something just prefers to be compared with.

Yes, for sure. It's the only reason I joined the Shed End forums....  to post about Jorginho.

Hopefully it's his last season with us so I can stop noting his multitude of short-comings and you can stop fighting a losing battle in trying to refute them. Anyway we both know he should not be anywhere near the starting XI in games like yesterday.

He will stop posting next season cause Jorginho and Kante won't be here, nobody to complain about and nobody to praise either. Till then, it's clearly Jorginho's fault that we lost and we would have won if Kante had played, we have never beaten Leeds with Jorginho, let alone 3:0.

Well if you wanted to do that equally with everyone you'd have nothing to do but noting.

But Jorginho have clearly become your sworn enemy and it's tedious as I said. I don't even refute Jorginho's short-comings. I am well aware he's got them.

All of our players have short-comings though. I'd look like a right twat if I made it my goal to point out Mounts, Kantes and the others shortcomings all the time for example.

You're getting your nickers on a twist here. No one is pointing solely to Jorginho, there's plenty of fingers pointing to most of the players and coach in their respective topics. But Jorginho should not escape the due criticism just because Gallagher was crap. He is not a good option when we play this type of teams, and yesterday was again an example of it. Who should we play instead? I haven't got a clue, Kante and Kova appear to spend most of the season injured, so I don't think we've got many options. That's why I have been saying in the rumours section of the forum that I'm more concerned about our lack of midfielders that can rotate with Jorginho, and why I'd rather we pushed for De Jong or any other similar type of player than getting Aubameyang.

Difference being those players you mentioned have several positives to their game that far outweigh their shortcomings.

And so does Jorginho. Your point?

If Jorginho left and Kante stayed perhaps one of us would have to take over the obvious agenda-mantle and start to berate Kante at every turn 😉

Plucking things out of the air here but one could for example focus in on the fact that he can barely tie his shoelaces without pulling something and screwing us time and time again.

I am of course joking and won't actually do that. And Jorginho and Kante will also both leave because they are both flawed. Latter no less than the former either.

Same people before and after every single match complain about Jorginho, win lose or a draw he's always the talk among the regulars here in case you didn't notice

Naughty Kante & Kova getting injured all the time accidentally on purpose. Be glad when we sell them both.

You seem to have a lot of time on your hands today Sindre. Why don't you crack on and post up those 3 or 4 Kante goal gaffe clips you were talking about last week?::MooNeY::

Go to bed @just, you need to get up at silly o'clock for that 6-week stay in Spain!

Can't sleep @Valerie

Too excited at six weeks of not doing all that much....... and don't say that's a bit like Jorginho then! 😉

Take Havertz with you Just and he will show you exactly how to do nothing plus we can see how long it is before anyone realises he's not on the pitch.

Got no long passing which is his biggest downfall. Everytime when he gets the ball, default option is go short, side ways or take extra 2 touches even when the opposition is out of shape. Even when we managed to beat the first press, he took that time or extra pass to invite more pressing, which is why we always looked slow. Cesc couldn't defend, but you put a protector next to him to cover that, knowing it will be rewarded when he unleashes those long passes which create goal scoring chances.

A player who looks good when we are winning and in control but doesn't know how to take a game by the horns and be the difference to get up out of trouble.....sell him

I'm sure that ship has sailed, he'll leave for free just like Kante.

Pretty sure I told you I wasn't going to do that. As it's entirely pointless and if you believe Kante doesn't make them then you are allowed to life in that belief.
