solid start but nothing new....still slow sideways passes going nowhere in the final third....Kante doesn't look comfortable playing right of centre, hopefully in time this new 4-3-3 will be fruitful.

My number 1 issue with Alonso in open play: never takes defenders on or overlaps on the wing. Always passes back or sideways or cuts inside. So frustrating to watch. Offers little in open play. 

Call Fabregas slow all you want, but whenever he's playing, the passing is a lot more fluid and purposeful. When it came to passing, he complemented Jorginho better than any other player we've seen so far. We saw evidence of this in the first half of the Inter and Arsenal matches.

kante is incredible, keeps winning the ball back and is everywhere, without a pre season as well, he's been our best player so far for me.

Morata has been invisible, the only thing I remember is him missing a sitter that wouldn't count anyway, but still he looks completely shot of confidence.

Giroud in for Morata would be better imo.

I figure Cesc will take Barkley's place at the rate we're going?

No wonder why he's our best player and the best CDM in the world, hence his World Cup win. As for Morata, nothing new ... still the same issues as last year. But let's wait and see how he does in the 2nd half.

Solid start so far without really threatening anything. Need more cutting edge and decisive. 

When we get into huddersfield's half we just literally stop, nothing really happens

Get the feeling that Hazard will be on at the 60th minute at the latest. 

Not sure what all the moaning is about re Pedro and Morata, apart from the few minutes they haven't seen the ball as the play on our end has been very snail like and who knows what Sarri has instructed them to do
