We've got a new Kepa

For all his many faults and f**kups at least Kepa is clearly unhappy with how this is going.

He's have to be some sadomasochistic maniac to be enjoying it.

He's watching his career go the Karius route game by horrendous game.

Who else is of the opinion that even now Cech is a better all round keeper than Kepa?

Easily.

Thing I don’t get is that not many of us were questioning him under Sarri. He’s he’s not perfect but he was decent under Sarri.

It’s not ALL on Kepa

I think the majority last season were questioning him, but were maybe a silent majority, due to giving him chance, but sorry worst keeper in my Chelsea supporting life and that goes back to the 70's

I find this very disrespectful to Ross Turnball!

Buffon is out of contract when this season ends isn't he? 🤣

In all seriousness, I don't care how old he is, he'd definitely give our defenders a stern word on what they're doing wrong!

Most goalkeepers at this level usually do something really well be it shot stopping commanding his area etc. Kepa doesn't do anything well from what i can see. I wonder did we ever scout him as bad as some of our transfers have been we have done really well with goalkeepers. We really need to replace him this summer. The only silver lining yes we did pay 71 million for him but we did get 36 million from Madrid that same summer so he only cost 35 million. If we got 35 million for him we would only really lose his signing on fee and wages the last few years.

The biggest fraud of them all is his footwork. He is terrible at passing the ball. Just see how Alison always found a free man when we pushed deep and how Kepa is kicking long, slow balls towards Alonso that gives 2-3 seconds for Liverpool players to come at him... assuming he is not giving the ball directly to them.

I've said it in another thread.

But there are many keepers across Europe who could do a good job and be available for less than 30/40m.

I'd happily see Kepa run out his contract on loan in Spain. We made a huge huge error in signing him.

The coach isn't the one who let in 5 goals that were saveable mate.

This is an absurd lie.
Kepa is not the best goalkeeper in the world.
The 80 million that paid for him is never worth it.
So far so good.
He has  mistakes.
But not all who are accused.

They want to blame Kepa for the fact that the team does not know how to defend at any point in the game.

In the last matchday of the League, the team still does not know how to defend a corner.

The first goal is a copy of Zaha's goal.

The amateur mistakes are repeated since day 1 of the season.
And I speak of collective errors, not individual ones, it is clear that in a team without a coach the players are exposed to making more mistakes.

The main problem here is Frankie.

That read like a modern poem. Kudos.

You're incorrect though and for my evidence I invite you to look at the way the goals went in tonight.

This pursuit of Kepa is surreal.

All to cover up the fact that we don't have a coach.

Nice to see you've returned after your cowardly disappearing act over the weekend.

No words. You understand why it must be horrible to be a defender with someone like that behind you.

You can't even call it poor. Its something far, far beyond that. Like the biggest sh*tshow i've ever seen over a long period of time by ANY goalkeeper.

He had completely lost the trust and confidence of his defense.

It's impossible for him to stay around next season, he's as good as home. It's just a matter of where to, and not when.
