absolutely disgraceful and shameful if so called fans are abusing and giving death threats to players.. I absolutely hope the police to act and arrest these people. Its not Kepa's fault that he was selected to play the match or Chelsea paid 70m for a player. I am ashamed about this behavior... and i give my full support to Kepa and his family.. i can only imagine what he might be going through.

Even his reaction to that shot was slow, if it was on target just under the bar he might not have saved it.

If he's been threatened indeed these idiots should go straight to the jail and get perma bans. The thing is this is probably just another cheap attempt by him and his agents to steal some sympathy and to make people forget.

Which of course will work because most of the people involved in football have the IQ of the ape. Nobody is talking about the jerk and the way he embarrassed the club and his boss, the coach on the biggest occasion against the best team. Nobody is talking about the so-called captain that sided him and contributed solidly to the embarrassment. 

Much, much, much better players got kicked of United for less.  We are still discussing his game which is, undoubtedly, godawful anyway. But that's not the point.

They just played that DeBruyne freekick against us on TV. Even there someone like Alisson, Cech or Courtois could have saved that. Kepa's jump is just sad. Not that he needs to save that. Just underlines how much of a handicap Kepa for us is.

 

 

You here about the top batsmen in Cricket and the greats in Tennis seeing the ball early. Kepa appears to see it late.

I'm going to guess we've seen the last of him in a Chelsea-shirt.

No reason whatsoever to drop Willy for the final as Caballero is a much better goalkeeper.

Yeah, pretty certain we wont see him again for us. Best for him and the club to part ways now. We might struggle  to buy a world class keeper, but a good, solid one who isn't a liability would be a significant step forward.

Although both the club and Kepa himself are better off without each other now, it must be a horrible feeling for him things have not worked out, especially in view of that ridiculous transfer fee (for which he is not responsible). We all want to do well in our jobs, after all.

Just hoping a solution can be found, preferably one that doesn't cost us too much money. 

It's been so long since Kepa made a save look easy that I felt genuine relief whenever Willy saved a shot.

I am not sure that I should post this, and I do not even remotely want to accuse Kepa of this, but he would have been excellent during the infamous 1919 Black Sox baseball scandal, in which some players of the White Sox baseball team took bribes and lost World Series games, whilst trying to look like they were trying to win those games but were actually trying to lose those games.  It looks like Kepa is trying, but he never seems to make the average save.  Maybe he’s just the anti-de-Gea, with human-average reflexes and other problems that just make him not good as a top league keeper (the short hop before trying to save a shot, weak wrists, etc.).

He’s quite clearly a talented keeper whose confidence is completely shot, who has had a tough season and made mistakes, along with a defense that has underperformed in front of him. I’m sure he will have success but it likely will not be with Chelsea. Unfortunately a perfect storm of circumstances for it not to work out and I wish him well with whatever comes next.

I love Baseballl (Tigers fan) and must get round to watching  the 8 Men Out movie.

Marina has one hell of a job to sort this out. He’s on a 7 year deal - the best we can hope for is loan deal somewhere. And that’s assuming we are able to find a suitable replacement

He will be loaned out and we will find a replacement. There are loads available.

We may have some trouble offloading him as he's on long contract. Hopefully one of the Spanish clubs are foolish enough to rescue us. How we managed to sign this guy for a world record fee still beats me. He was hardly pulling down trees at the time, so I just can't understand how we made such a terrible deal.
