February 25, 20197 yr Some of my Cooking with Phillip posts were fairly long. I did love playing murderball during recess when I was a young tyke. Its outlawed now for kids in school, too bad for them.

For all of you who don't know, murder ball is a game where there are about 6 players a side, with about 6 balls in play, whereby when a player grabs a ball, he throws it to try to hit an opposing player on the other side of the pitch, and it he hits the player, the player is out, but if the player catches the ball thrown at him, the thrower is out. The team with the last player standing wins. Kepa seemed to think that he needed to catch the shot by Arguero, and not just parry it away like any average to below average keeper would have done. This really is inexcusable the stupid form that Kepa showed on that shot from Arguero. OK, rant over. f**k me, we call it dodge ball this side of the Atlantic....... and I thought we we're the ones glorifying violence :P

If he plays on Wednesday and has a blinder against Spurs it’ll be forgotten about in the blink of an eye If you look it up, it was a really gruesome thing. They would actually chop the person into quarters, four pieces.

February 25, 20197 yr Sounds like a very dark ages torture. Surprised they were still doing it in the mid 1700s.

Hurt like hell when the ball hit you, some kids were vicious.

They were hanged, taken off while still alive, then their entrails would be removed and burned before their eyes, and finally they would be chopped to bits. Usually the head was put on display on a spike, and the remaining parts distributed around the country. This was a traitor's death, although members of the nobility usually were dispatched much more quickly by beheading. The racking wasn't part of the execution, though. That was part of the interrogation. Most of the time they couldn't even walk to the scaffold afterwards.

To be precise, Murder ball was a variant where shots to the head we’re encouraged, and so it differed From dodgeball/trefball in that regard. Multiballs in play at the same time made it fun and manic.

February 25, 20197 yr Im waiting for someone to bring out the Wikipedia link that tells us how Murder-ball/Dodge-ball was invented by ancient Brits literally throwing decapitated heads at each other....

February 25, 20197 yr To be honest about it, we like the vanilla-flavoured almond milk, and not the regular flavoured almost milk so much.

Dont shout at him across the pitch making him look a fool. Now can any of Kepas defenders on here say that would at least be the minimum he should have done? If he had done that he would have gotten praise for his confidence and mature approach, regardless of what Sarri did next. Instead Sarri looks a fool. Kepa thought he was going to be subbed because of his injury. He was probably asked if he was okay. He said he can continue. I think Kepa got mixed signs from the bench and he was so determined to save a couple of penalties. I don't think he tried to disrespect anyone nor he has lack of respect for the management. Kepa was absolutely wrong there and now he is facing the music. To me our encouraging performance was the news in this game and not Kepa. Non-Chelsea fans will naturally make a field day of this because they want us to struggle. To me this was unfortunate but already forgotten.
