I literally said the Same thing when the commentators said Ozil is coming off I literally forgot he was playing

I was massively surprised by one of the 2nd half substitutions..... I didn't even realise ozil was on the pitch until he went of.

I had to watch the second half streaming on my phone, so I couldn't see jersey numbers, and I had trouble telling Kovacic and Hazard apart at times... And I gleefully thought to myself "damn that's a good thing"

Thought the exact same thing. Kovacic moves really well. Quite the player. Hope he stays for several years. Did we determine if we have a formal buy option at the end of the year?

Disappointed not to win a ton off a £3 bet on 3-3, last week I bet 3-1 to CFC yet 3-0 so my betting is slightly off yet when is the last time we consecutively scored 3 on the bounce?

Lost the bet yet glad we are top and think we will beat Newcastle too.

What a nerve-wracking, brilliant game of football. From start to finish, was a brilliant game of football. A lot of neutrals for sure will be tuning into our matches this season. Defence for both teams were poor. We kept getting cut open time after time but fortunately poor finishing cost them. We were the better team for majority of the match but when they attacked, they looked really threatening. Iwobi caused Azpi all sorts of problems and Azpi looked really vulnerable and weak. Looks like he needs to hit the weights because Iwobi had the better of him throughout the game on so many occasions and generally looked a lot stronger. Jorginho was very good and my MOTM. Alonso gets his critics but man what he contributes for us cannot be underrated. Even at LB instead of LWB, he still manages to contribute goals and assists. That is 2 games this season and 2 assists and 1 goal.

Barkley impressed me as well. When he is running with the ball, he is really threatening and intimidating for the opposition. He forced a really good save out of Cech. The sense of relief I and the stadium had for Morata when he scored was pure gold. So glad for him. What a goal it was . He has kept persisting and has been awarded. We obviously have things to improve on which is natural but 2 games, 2 wind and 6 goals scored. Hopefully we make that 3 out of 3 against Newcastle. Think the team will be the same but maybe Hazard in for Willian if Sarri feels he is ready to start.

That was a real derby and we were deserved winners on our 2nd half performance.

Worried how we were cut open - we could have easily seen 7 or 8 goals in this match. Think Kante needs to be moved back to cover the spaces.

Now if Limerick can only win their first All Ireland in 45 years 2moro i will be in nirvana ahead of schedule.

Not since Feb18 then!

Back home after a few pints at the Bolton after the match. What a game! Even the atmosphere was on fire from the minute that the Liquidator started blasting. We were all over Arsenal for the first 25-30 minutes, and then we lost control of the game and let them equalise. The second half we were the better team by far and deserved that win. It is disguised by their two goals how better we were. Anyway, Morata scored a great goal, Jorginho was a beast in the midfield, Barkley was very good and Kovacic showed how much quality he's got when he came on. I think that we are losing a lot of the defensive power in the midfield by letting Kante roam high up the pitch, I think we should let the best DM play as that. And William, in my opinion, was poor and we improved so much when Hazard came on. You can also tell that Hazard is enjoying playing. I was a bit skeptic about Alonso as a LB, but sincerely, today he played very well and the amount of damage he brings when attacking is worth the while, I'm no thanks sure how he came on to the scoring position, but I find it amazing that a full back should find himself in the 6 yards box to score the winning goal, brilliant!

Anyway, I've really enjoyed our football today, it's been a brilliant. Up the Chels!

Warning signs were there even when we were 2 up. Some shocking defending, no one attacking the ball, players standing off. Really amateur stuff. 

On the plus side, Hazard was magnificent, Kovacic looked class and Morata scored. 

Sarri just needs to sort out our awful defending. 

By the way, really annoying that the BBC on their match report mention that Arsenal could have been 5 up before half time, forgetting the several chances Cech defended saving Arsenal from an embarrassing defeat. Also mentioning that our 71m keeper could have done more in the first, which I agree, but there's no reason to mention the price tag other than to put pressure on him and us. Let's see if the expensive keeper from their Livepoodle darling gets the same treatment.

Missed that though caught the Everton manager speaking with Lineker saying it's not right to mention the price they paid for Richarlison as that was dictated by the market not the player.

I don't think there is much of a chance that Giroud will take Moratas place in the starting 11. Sarri said this after the game: “We need to press and press and press in the other half, otherwise we are in trouble.” That means we can't have a slow Giroud leading the line, I think there is a much bigger chance we play a false 9 before that happens. With Sarri the best defence is winning the ball back in the oposition half, or force them to play a long ball forward. 

I still thought his substitution late in the second half was a good one though, since we controlled the midfield and Arsenal started to drop deep.

I would like to see something like this (below).  When Sarri wants to play Barkley, we can switch back to how it was today.  Jorginho's passing ability and composure on the ball seems to suit him playing better farther back and more central.  And Kante being a world class defensive midfielder suits him better in basically the same spot on the field as Jorginho.

It was on their website report of the match that I read on my way back home. I haven't seen MOTD so not sure if they've mentioned it as well on tv.

Lets be honest we got the win and it feels great, in fact it feels amazing to win this game...but Arsenal could have scored 5 goals in the first half, our defense got a lot of holes and I'm worried that we won't be able to win against Liverpool if the team doesn't get better in 1 month time.

That was great....
End to end stuff, we played some of the best football we've played in years IMO, I love it.

Yes, they could have scored, but how many times did Cech save the ball from going in? We got 11 shots on target for 6 of them. We have to improve massively our defence, but we can't play us down as the media's done because we were massively better than them. Great attacking football in need to defend much better, but today we were above Arses' level.
