He's never come across as the thinking/smart tactical player, more of a brute force destroyer. Would be interesting to know what he thinks of this group of weak minded children.

Spoke to a lad who knows him from playing and he reckons he's very much a leader and role model at the club in fairness. Just a nutter on the pitch.

For instance there could be an agreement with the purchaser that they hand it over to the chap that sits next to you and he for a £10 posts it on to you or maybe meets you by the Ossie statue and gives it to you. Not suggesting for one second that people are acting 100% or indeed some tickets that are given as part of commercial partnerships or indeed to players don’t end up of re sale sites but what do the6 say if it can happen it will happen I still believe the most likely explanation is that these are tickets that are not allocated to anyone and that they are supposed to be available for sale to members on the " on sale" date . you will have your ST cancelled if the club becomes aware of the scenario you have outlined. I've never heard of ST cards being passed to ticket agencies in the manner you described. Edited February 10, 20251 yr by The Rising Sun Info

My brother in law has been to a few of the club meetings and the whole of the Wigan Warriors is big on Culture and mind set. A winning mentality and culture is probably the biggest thing we've lost by selling off literally anyone who was associated with the previous winning teams. The years of winning cups even in seasons we've not performed well is lost.

I've just messaged him to find out what exactly happened because I'm pretty sure he got in. EDIT.. he squeezed in behind someone at the turnstile! My seat was free when he got to it. Hopefully this nutter can scare some into them.

February 11, 20251 yr Boehly is apparently also now investing in English cricket ... just bought 49% of Trent Rockets, one of the teams that plays in the Hundred competition. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/articles/c20gj0g5v5yo
February 11, 20251 yr I wonder how much we woild have to pay out in bonuses, and how much our wage bill would go up, if we were to qualify for the CL.

Enough to tip us the wrong side of the PSR line ? Judging by the efforts being made to steer us out of the Top 4/5 anyway LOL

February 12, 20251 yr The EU have removed the charge against Roman to do with their belief he gained financially from Putin and the Russian government. What was the reason the UK government striped all of Roman's UK assets from him again? The offical one? Not get anything to do with that 2.5bill sitting in a UK bank account gaining nice interest for UK government right?
February 12, 20251 yr As much as I despair about the loonies now owning and running our club (into mid table oblivion), I am grateful at least that we didn’t get that fruitcake Radcliffe that’s at United. I read he’s firing more minimum wage staff to avoid bankruptcy whilst still paying over 300k per week to the likes of Rashford. United fans must almost look at us with envy.

Hopefully this nutter can scare some into them. Isa is from the same part of Sydney as me, the same age and went to the same schools as some of my mates. He grew up as a very privileged kid in a working-class suburb, going to the most expensive Catholic private school in the area. Isa was also part of a western Sydney "golden generation" that received a lot of privilege during their youth. For many reasons, but attitude being one, Isa never made it in the NRL despite a lot of hype when he was coming through, hence why he left for England. To his credit he has matured and achieved a lot (which cannot be said for some of his mates/peers). I don't know how his story of a wayward kid come good will resonate with the likes of Palmer, Sancho or Madueke who in fairness have achieved much more than him despite even harder upbringing. But I think he could spin a cautionary tale about how believing your hype can destroy a career. Edited February 13, 20251 yr by SydneyChelsea

Pretty sure Roman Abramovich, in exile since 2018, has paid more taxes to the UK government than Ratcliffe. His modus operandi seems to gut businesses into the ground than plead for help from the taxpayer on the grounds he is 'too big to fail' - the business equivalent of a toddler running crying to their parents I fully expect him to gut United then cry to the Council and government for investment a la Real Madrid selling their training ground.

Why they're still being held is another matter.
