As a rugby League fan I can tell you now that Willie Isa is a compete nutjob.

Exactly.  He's never come across as the thinking/smart tactical player, more of a brute force destroyer.  Would be interesting to know what he thinks of this group of weak minded children.

Spoke to a lad who knows him from playing and he reckons he's very much a leader and role model at the club in fairness.

Just a nutter on the pitch.

Where there is a will there’s a way. For instance there could be an agreement with the purchaser  that they hand it over to the chap that sits next to you and he for a £10 posts it on to you or maybe meets you by the Ossie  statue and gives it to you.

Not suggesting for one second that people are acting 100% or indeed some tickets that are  given as part of commercial partnerships or indeed to players  don’t end up of re sale sites but what do the6 say if it can happen it will happen

I still believe the most likely explanation is that these are tickets that are not allocated to anyone and that they are supposed to be available for sale to members on the  " on sale" date .  you will have your ST cancelled if the club becomes aware of the scenario you have outlined. I've never heard of ST cards being passed to ticket agencies in the manner you described.

My brother in law has been to a few of the club meetings and the whole of the Wigan Warriors is big on Culture and mind set.  A winning mentality and culture is probably the biggest thing we've lost by selling off literally anyone who was associated with the previous winning teams.   The years of winning cups even in seasons we've not performed well is lost.

Hi mate, I replied earlier, but I've just remembered that I forwarded my ticket to a mate for the West Ham game and he phoned me up to say it was coming up that the ticket had already been used and wouldn't admit him. I've just messaged him to find out what exactly happened because I'm pretty sure he got in.

EDIT.. he squeezed in behind someone at the turnstile! My seat was free when he got to it.

Yeah it's always been a big thing in RL, we've got zero backbone in our squad, shocking lack of fight. Hopefully this nutter can scare some into them.

Boehly is apparently also now investing in English cricket ... just bought 49% of Trent Rockets, one of the teams that plays in the Hundred competition.

We cant loan players out to cricket franchises... or is that outside FIFA rules and this is a brilliant financial decision by the w**ker in charge?

Maybe can find starlets to convert to baseball.

He needs to scare the sh*t out of our owners.

I wonder how much we woild have to pay out in bonuses, and how much our wage bill would go up, if we were to qualify for the CL.

Probably about a Colwill, maybe a Chalobah if we're lucky and if Mudryk cops a ban.

Maybe. Now what will make the owners more money? Wage bill staying as it is or bonuses and wages rise but we get CL money?

Not sure cricet can offer Basball anything... Cricket did knick how to throw a ball without causing injury though.

im a secret basball fan tbh... love the way the yanks make something so tedious an enjoyable watch.

Enough to tip us the wrong side of the PSR line ? Judging by the efforts being made to steer us out of the Top 4/5 anyway LOL

Not as much as having to fork out for Mudryk's stay in the Priory

The EU have removed the charge against Roman to do with their belief he gained financially from Putin and the Russian government.

What was the reason the UK government striped all of Roman's UK assets from him again? The offical one?

Not get anything to do with that 2.5bill sitting in a UK bank account gaining nice interest for UK government right?

As much as I despair about the loonies now owning and running our club (into mid table oblivion), I am grateful at least that we didn’t get that fruitcake Radcliffe that’s at United. I read he’s firing more minimum wage staff to avoid bankruptcy whilst still paying over 300k per week to the likes of Rashford.

United fans must almost look at us with envy.

Isa is from the same part of Sydney as me, the same age and went to the same schools as some of my mates. He grew up as a very privileged kid in a working-class suburb, going to the most expensive Catholic private school in the area. Isa was also part of a western Sydney "golden generation" that received a lot of privilege during their youth. For many reasons, but attitude being one, Isa never made it in the NRL despite a lot of hype when he was coming through, hence why he left for England. To his credit he has matured and achieved a lot (which cannot be said for some of his mates/peers).

I don't know how his story of a wayward kid come good will resonate with the likes of Palmer, Sancho or Madueke who in fairness have achieved much more than him despite even harder upbringing. But I think he could spin a cautionary tale about how believing your hype can destroy a career.

Could have been worse, we could have had Sir Jim "gut the club" Radcliffe.

Pretty sure Roman Abramovich, in exile since 2018, has paid more taxes to the UK government than Ratcliffe. His modus operandi seems to gut businesses into the ground than plead for help from the taxpayer on the grounds he is 'too big to fail' - the business equivalent of a toddler running crying to their parents

I fully expect him to gut United then cry to the Council and government for investment a la Real Madrid selling their training ground.

Interest doesn't go to the government. The funds are being held in escrow.  Why they're still being held is another matter.
