There is nothing left of the identity of the club. And all it took was 3 seasons. I'm honestly at the point where if we had a break away AFC CHelsea, I'd seriously consider watching them instead.

I am surprised there hasn't been a breakaway club formed already.

Well I am the number 1 critic of ownership on here but... don't think I would go quite that far Plonk.

Chelsea do mean a lot to most of us on here but yeah, could we settle for them getting thrown in jail for life or something?

I meant venture capitalists in general and not specifically our ownership (although any one would make the world a better place immediately).

I think tonight's result is a big one in seeing just what the point of this ownership is. If they actually give a sh*t about the club doing well, they will sack him. It's plain as day to everyone with 1 functioning eye that it's not working, the players are getting worse every week, and he has no idea what he's doing. If they don't give a sh*t and are only in it for some potential profits somewhere down the line, he'll still be here next week. I think we all know which it will be.

A lot of you will disagree but what's really pissing me off is we are a manager and transfer window away from becoming a really good team, unfortunately, I don't trust the owners and the SDs to make the correct decisions.

I get the impression we will always be a manager and a good transfer window or 2 away with these owners.

No don’t think so.
we don’t have a Gk, CB, LB, Winger/St  that is 5 players and 300 M of investment- ain’t happening.

less said about maresca the better.

That's the frustrating thing, our deficiencies are obvious to our fans, the pundits, opposition fans and more than likely the other clubs as well. Everyone except our hierarchy.

Agreed. Performances like that have usually spelt the end for managers in the past. Whether it was under Roman, or Ken Bates. Under the new ownership it is different though. It should not just be the manager under question but also the SD's who chose the manager. Not sure the owners will make that sort of change. They may decide to move on from Maresca but that will cost them a 5 year contract payout plus they have to search for a new Yes man.

I have been supporting the club from 2002 when I first saw lamps in the euros.. pos that I don’t think I have missed watching more than 10-15 matches including fckin friendlies - planned my stuff around our fixtures to do so and doing what it takes..

but last 3 years has been tough with this lot in charge .. making decisions that are difficult to understand or relate with .. they have sucked the soul outta this club. I know I will still watch is getting beaten against villa next week but first the first time in 22 years I am struggling to connect and feel good and actually get excited for match days..

So, basically you want to say that we’re an ownership change away from becoming a proper club again.

I can't wait until they have us move away from Stamford Bridge into the our new stadium which will be named the Riyadh Air stadium 😐

I'm still wondering what happened between them and Tuchel. Still no explanations. Boehly said that the way the club was being run before was not good, well, HELLO?! Wtf is this?!

They are not football people and Tuchel realise that very quickly and got out. I can’t blame him at all.

Not sure I could see them managing to move us to a new stadium when they cannot even find a sponsor for the shirt.

It is interesting how Boehly was the initial villain, trusting Tuchel’s talent i.d and squad building, f**ked it, then handed over the Eggballi and Clearlake, and now it looks as if, he was our guy all along.

It’s the opposite of that ‘live long enough to see yourself become the villain’ line, he’s done a 180, maybe he can eventually buy a majority stake and turn this ship around. Although given the spending commitment surpassed, the damage seems all but done.

They couldn’t organise a piss up in a brewery let alone buy a place for a new stadium.

I just can't get my head around why it needs to be one or the other to be honest. Surely it's common sense, if we have the money to spend, to buy some of the best young players around like we have been doing, but to fill some key positions with top players in their prime as well? Completely baffles me why both owners have gone to the extreme in both directions since we were bought out and they haven't realised neither of them worked.

I said in another thread that I think we're only 3 or 4 top signings (and manager) away from a team that can challenge for the league and CL because we do have some very good young players in the team but we are missing key elements, namely a top GK, CB and ST.

We desperately need Todd to win this apparent ownership Civil War and get that absolute rat Eghbali out of the club along with his two cronies in Stewart & Winstanley.

Aye we certainly couldn't go wrong with the part owner of Vivid Seats ripping off our fans running the club.

Is not Todd, or Egbahli, or Wyss. It is BlueCo. The rest is all PR they spin to distract. There is no civil war, they are all in on this.

So let's make summary of what the Circus FC have done in just 3 years:

Spent over a Billion (mostly on players who will never play for us or are just utter sh*t)

4 coaches/Yes men

Changed the whole staff at the club (inc. the medical department and still had one of the worst injury crisis in football history ever!)

Mistreated players like Chilwell, Chalabolah, Gallagher etc.

ZERO top4 finishes

2 Seasons of no shirt sponsor

Ticket f**king touting from one of the owner! (Vivid Seats)

Only club in EPL with 2 SD-s/Clowns

Assembled the team with no logic (like 12 number two goalies / not buying any players for number 9 / hoarding the wings etc.)

Giving out long super long contracts to everyone (Potter and Mudryk ones are my favorites:JC_doubleup:)

Scored a record-low 38 goals across the entire season in 23/24

Made FC have a new meaning...Financial club and even in that we suck!

Feel free to add to the list! I know there's loads of more but I'm just so fed up with this utter crap and the more I wrote the more the depression sank in!
