Board need to make a big decision at the end of the season...if the transfer ban sticks then I don't want Sarri to be in charge of the likes of Abraham, Bats, CHO, Pulasic, Mount etc.

Who would you have rather in charge? We’re not going to have world class managers queuing outside the club’s door.

I'm not convinced by the stat of us hitting the posts so many times, I think that is desperation as we are not creating enough good chances.

Says 19 times Chelsea. We are unlucky but that can't change if something about our buildup or tactics don't change, thing is none of those things would change if Sarri stays.

According to Sarri, Higuain was ill earlier in the week and that was why he couldn't play 90 minutes. If that's true why did Sarri pick him to start?

Because the Sarri-System is more important than in-form players and so on...

Let that sink in.

I have been saying this all season. Possession and us dominating games like we did in the first half today and again against Wolves is all well and good but when we fail to score and then go behind, we never look like getting back in the game. I have ZERO confidence that once we go behind in a game, that we will be able to come back. It does make Sarri's whole concept massively flawed in my opinion.

Another shocking stat from today. That is the first time in 26 attempts that Everton have managed a win against the top 6 (we are still considered top 6 right now, but now sure how long for at this rate). But that stat tells you all you need to know about how bad a team Everton are and unfortunately also says a lot about Chelsea right now.

next season will be interesting if Sarri's still here, expectations will be low and we'll be focusing on whether we finish in the top 10 or not

Regardless of who’s in charge, an expectation reset would be no bad thing

Forget the top 4, we have to hope we can turn it on in the Europa.

Against Wolves and this first half we domainte, we should win and win handsomely and yet only get 1 point due to 1 piece of Hazard magic.

We just are not good enough at scoring goals.

The Wolves manager is one...

Higuain especially.  Looks so labored and his finishing has been poor to top it all off.  I actually thought Jorginho was one of our best today.  Should have had an assist (see above regarding Higuain), and thought he was solid in everything else.

Let’s call it as it is.. he’s sh*te. Morata was written off for far less than this. That miss early on was criminal.

What good would that do. Lets go on and win the EL and sacrifice Prem.

Of course ! Easier route to UCL footy + I feel Europe football this year has been better for us imo.

Sure am glad I got to be at Goodison for that one haha

Good times. In fairness, we dominated the first half, but didn't finish our chances. We paid for it.

At least there is no Willian to blame this time. Pedro was actually our biggest threat throughout the game.

If running around like a headless chicken and firing shots off target is our biggest threat, then sure, he was our biggest threat.  I thought he was terrible - always made things more difficult than they had to be with his head down dribbling and did nothing with the ball in the final third, even with acres of space on occasion.

I am not saying he had a good game but the fact I am saying he was our most dangerous player, reflects how bad everyone else was. It is also worrying that we lose games away from home to trams with good technical players in central midfield. Wolves, Spurs, Arsenal, City.... we don't know to compete literally and have no clue once we go a goal down.

Lampard, Morris, Terry... I want someone who will play our kids. I honesty don’t care about winning the league anymore. We cannot beat city. We cannot match their spending which is what it’ll take. We need to try and create our own superstars (which we should he more than capable of with the most successful youth side in the country). We have enough quality in our youth teams that we could have our own version of the class of ‘92 in my opinion. We just need someone in charge who’s going to give them a regular chance instead of having them on a conveyor belt of loans which culminate in the chelsea death sentence of a vitesse loan.

I agree about the tempo but Liverpool play a similar type of pressing football that Sarri wants but it works because they have the right players, we clearly don’t, he was brought into bring high temp possession based football that’s what he is doing, it can certainly be adapted but it takes time, look at Klopp and pep in their first season if anything we are at least that good, isn’t it better to give this approach  time and back the manager instead of just sacking one after the other and having no stability? Once hazard Is gone and transfer ban on, we are f**ked, we can’t do the whole new manager couple of new players thing, we need a football philosophy

We had/have a football philosophy, soaking up pressure & hitting teams on the counter, we’re really good at it as well, we didn’t need to change we needed to build on what we have.

Sarri is insisting on a formula he doesn’t have the players for, I keep saying this if we wanted to change the style it needed evolution not revolution.

If he can’t see the problems with the team that everyone else can, he’s not the man for the job.

Azpi needs to get called out too. He is not suited in the style we are looking to play at all. In a pragmatic line up, he is fine but he just does not offer enough offensively. Slow for a FB and a vital part of the team that needs to be addressed. Look how Pep sorted that position when he went to City and how much they improved.
