April 3, 20197 yr Beating Brighton tonight is a must, but lately, we have been falling short to lower-tier teams such as Albion. I didn't go to Cardiff, but I heard the insistent boos and abuse. Don't get me wrong, our season is not going as planned but we are not as bad as the fans make out we are. Come On The Chelsea!
April 3, 20197 yr I fear for the default 70% possession for 60min with 1 shot on target... Hope for a win, doesn't matter how just win it!
April 3, 20197 yr Game day, come on Chelsea !!! This is a must win game after United lost to Wolves yesterday, I hope for a better line up and display compared to Cardiff. Alonso potentially not playing is already a plus and like all of us, I would like to see CHO and RLC start this game. Come on boys !
April 3, 20197 yr Every opportunity that has been presented over the last few weeks to go back into the top 4 has been wasted by Sarri I don't see a lot of hope if he plays the same personnel (albeit w 2 rotations) and the same tactics, Brighton are a strong physical team and Hughton will have sussed out Sarri 150%. They need the 3 points really badly, so will be super motivated, & we've all seen how motivated our lot are in the prem lately, hardly surprising with the numpty in charge (as u can tell I've had enough of Sarri and his Ball). once again I hope I'm wrong, ............
April 3, 20197 yr I'm fully expecting a win tonight. As woeful as we are, ultimately we are picking up sufficient points to cling on to the hope of a top four finish. And I believe that Brighton are one the few sides that we can can beat without too much trouble. Not saying we'll thrash them, not even that we'll play well, and certainly not that we'll be remotely entertaining, just simply that we will win tonight.
April 3, 20197 yr Author One thing i reckon Sarri got right Sunday was finishing with a strong team on the pitch. Late goal action 75+ We've scored after the 75th minute in 15 league games (from 31), only Liverpool can match that by also scoring after the 75th minute in 15 league games. We've only conceded in 4 games after the 75th minute, only City can match that with also just the 4. Looks like when the game opens up for the last 15 minute feast, we are somewhat at an advantage.
April 3, 20197 yr We are only a point behind Spurs and MU which must be telling us something, although I'm not quite sure what.Come on the blues.
April 3, 20197 yr Just walked an hour to the train station to meet my old man in Wimbledon as he was working nearby so we’d have had to take two cars. Now I’m going to have to put up with his moaning all night because he got there early and had to wait around for me. All to reduce my carbon footprint. Can the team make at least half as much effort on the pitch tonight please.
April 3, 20197 yr Great opportunity right here to leap frog ManU and hopefully Spurs will drop points to Crystal
April 3, 20197 yr Great opportunity to show lack of motivation and application and all in front of the home fans. Hope we see something else.

Ruben with one long range screamer and a late arrival in to the box ala Frank type goal & then Christensen with a bullet header JT style to cap off a solid display ? And Kovacic to come on in injury time to score his first goal in years.

I’m not trying to be cheeky, genuinely just curious if that’s what you meant or if I’ve picked up what you’ve written wrong... Im friends with a few ex players and been to see them at different clubs in management. At any time in a job they try their best. I haven’t got a problem with people’s opinions, just when it crosses the line with personal slurs. Edited April 3, 20197 yr by Richard P
April 3, 20197 yr Just now, DidierDrogbalala said: Solid lineup! Finally we get what we have been waiting for! Let's take advantage of this and make it obvious that this is THE TEAM going forward... maybe rotate between Giroud and Higuain

April 3, 20197 yr probably the best team we can put on the field minus the Rudiger/Luiz/Christensen debate.
April 3, 20197 yr Dream line-up. Only thing I would change in the long-run is Rudiger for Luiz but 10/11 is good enough for me.
April 3, 20197 yr Woow, a line up to dream for... I am happy. I hope all the players will show the manager that this is the team we need to play most games. Come on Chelsea !!
