I've never understood why you would want scarves with the name of your club and that of another side on them. Can you imagine a half-and-half scarf with Rangers and Celtic on it. Would cause a riot. Apart from neutrals, I don't understand how any supporter in their right mind would buy such a scarf?

Oh god, this must be one of the most awful things souvenir designers have ever come up with.

I've heard that some people buy half-and-half scarves as a memento of a match. If a memento is wanted I would have thought a ticket or programme or even something from the club shop would suffice. Back in the eighties there was a spate of half-hats which normally had an English club on one side and a Scottish side on the other. I was at Anfield in 1985 when we drew 1-1 with the bin dippers. At the game there was about a thousand Rangers fans. There was no top flight matches in Scotland that weekend and it was a few months after a match at the Bridge between us and Rangers to raise monies for the victims of the Bradford FC disaster. At half-time a Liverpool fan with half Liverpool/half Celtic fan walked in front of the Chelsea and Rangers fans. He got loads of abuse. Edited January 9, 20206 yr by Boyne
January 9, 20206 yr Kane out until April with hamstring injury. Great news for us. United, Arsenal and Spurs all have injury problems. We seemed to have cleared ours up now.

Arsenal also getting away with murder, Xhaka fouling endlessly without getting a yellow and the ref for some reason not giving a red for a clear kick out. That was a decent game on Monday and I was impressed with Leeds. As you say, Bamford wasn't great. First 20 minutes or so I was thinking he might be a better back-up option than Giroud or Batshuayi. But as the first half went on, you could see with a half decent striker Leeds would have been well ahead. Much as we hate Dirty Leeds, think it would be great to have them back in the PL so we can renew our rivalry!
January 10, 20206 yr ESPN and the team led by Dr. Thomas Curran at the London School of Economics have compiled the Anti-VAR Index, which shows how the league would look if VAR decisions were removed from games.

Take away 2 points for Sheff Utd, another VAR gift for them last night, Moyes was right, everyone in football knows that was a good goal. disallowed in the 93 minute, nobody doubts it was a handball, but never enough to disallow the goal. When you compare the liverpoo goal against city when TAA clearly handled the ball in the beginning of their opening goal, to the disallowed goal last night that West ham scored, its all wrong, it should be the other way around on both decisions.
January 11, 20206 yr Just underlines how many decisions VAR are getting wrong when you find yourself feeling sorry for the likes of West Ham! Shocking decision, made all the worse by the fact it was into injury time, practically the last kick of the game and we all know how mental we all go celebrating a late goal. To have that supporter elation subsequently wiped out - when not one Sheff Utd player was appealing - it's just ruining the game as we know and love it.
January 11, 20206 yr Arsenal 1-0 up. Reckon they have a chance of catching us? We’ll only be 6 ahead if they win before we play. Arteta looks ok.

Right now, Don Carlo's Everton poise a bigger threat that the gooners - safe to say that Arteta is not on the same level as Super Frank - he is still trying to figure this coaching thing out
