Saw this on Facebook. From a years back. Made me chuckle. Perhaps it will be brought out again if Arteta doesn't succeed.

 

For every other teams in the league, VAR is used to check every aspect of the goal for a reason to be ruled out. For Liverpool, the people running VAR just happily overlook the incidents and award the goal. VanDik paused for a second after the ball hit his arm, even he knew he got a handball, and that touch of Allana would be called accident handball if was player any other teams. There you have it, title awarded, signed FA.

No doubt they are the best team and deserve to be top. I wanted to say that, through gritted teeth admittedly, before the next part.

I coined them LiVARpool early on, one of the first possibly to do so, for a reason. It is clear VAR is more often used to help them than hinder them. Sure they can trot out a couple of examples where it has not. A few drops in a very different ocean.

They are an excellent team, European champions. Why do they need help form whoever runs VAR? Season is tainted by the exceptionally poor way the system works and is used. Will be remember as the worst season in the PL era because of it.

He's stupid for going to Arsenal in the first place, it boggles my mind why players go there for trophies... Since 2004 they've only won 3 F.A. Cups.

Got to laugh at sky sports. The transfer window hasn’t even opened yet and they’re already saying that player Liverpool signed is the the best signing of January window.

even if they weren't running away with it, I see BT and the Premier League have contrived to give Liverpool an extra day's rest between the weekend and their New Year game. Very thoughtful......

Remember when we had to play Spurs in the Semi Final, Barcelona at home, and Liverpool away in the space of 6 days in 2012? All because Liverpool refused to play on the day of Hillsborough, they always get lenience.

Arsenal's been living off its reputation for a while, but it's been waning in the last few years now.

There's a whole new generation emerging that does not remember them winning any titles. You would have to be at least 20+ years of age to have any real memory of them winning the title.

I have no sympathy for him. He chased the money and will now be remembered as a very good player that achieved nothing of note. 

If he cared about winning trophies, he would have stayed at Dortmund instead of joining Arsenal. Dortmund have been a better team than Arsenal for over a decade now.

Villa have just been denied a goal by VAR.

I still don't know how.

This is just silly. Review for offside sure, but don't draw these lines - use your eye and understanding of the game to judge whether the attacker's position gave him an unfair advantage; if that's not obvious award the goal.
