Nothing wrong with VAR. It is the idiots that do not know how to implement it and use it properly that are the issue.

There's plenty wrong about it, blaming the people using it is too convenient.

When you see the disallowed goal is that the technologies fault or the idiot reviewing it?

How about last week when the dumba** on the field was giving a foul and yellow to Alonso but VAR changed it to a pen for us with the right call? Same tech, different people.

So why wasn't it used to see if kane was offside? Why aren't the fans at the ground shown what's happening? It was supposed to get rid of subjective decisions but blatantly hasn't. Why do they take so long to see if a devision was clearly right/wrong, if it rakes that long then it obviously wasn't f**king clear. Why aren't the pitch side monitors used? Refs now use it as a reason not to give decisions, they can step away and let var do it. There's no way it should be used to see if someone's armpit is 1mm offside. It's ruining the entertainment side of the sport, which is the most important part.

Silly defending, Kane was always going to drag that back

Yep. Kane is always looking for contact in the penalty area, the defender needed to be smarter there.

I can't believe the media buy into the changed Mourinho BS. He is no different than he was before. I see no positive change to this Spurs side than before Poch was sacked. They look worse in fact, barely getting by teams. The media in this country fawn over Jose like he's some deity.

It is the rules set up by the people running it. Only used for pens, goals, red card events. It is flawed but is the rules they made for it.

The offside useage is very stupid I agree, it is ruining the enjoyment of the sport for sure.

Why didnt var look from a different angle?

This whole use of VAR came about because of Henry blatantly cheating Ireland out of their spot in the world cup.

We should have just had goal line tech. That work brilliantly and fast.

Fully agree on that, goal line tech and only check anything definitive, ball crossing the line etc rather than anything that still needs an opinion.

Yes. The response time on Tammys goal at Saints was fantastic and spot on. A clear "is the whole ball over the line, yes or no".

At least Spurs dropped points tonight who I see as our main threat for top 4.

Wolves as well for me, and outside chance of Sheffield United if they can sort out their home form.

I said before our game against them that they are a sinking ship. Jose isn't capable of making a new team after Pochetino has been there for all those years and left his mark on most of those players.

Crazy how United are currently 1 point below us, all that hard work undone in just a month. We were miles ahead of them before the international break.

Is what happens if you lose games to abysmal teams. West Ham are hopeless, they prove that almost every week yet easily bested us with a 3rd choice keeper. Bournemouth are even worse, in a right tailspin and their win over us did nothing to change it for them. Everton had a caretaker manager and we handed them the win on a silver plate.

Then we have Southampton, worst defense in the league, shut us out. Our hard work undone not by superb performances against us or bad luck, just our own incompetence

Pellegreni sacked. Shame, would love for them to go down.

Not a surprise, he has done a poor job.

Villa and Norwich should do likewise, their managers are not coping with the step up.

IMO time for Bournemouth and Eddie Howe to part ways too. Would be best for both for fresh idea and a fresh challenge.
