We will after we've sold more of players that are currently on our books.

Havertz can be funded by selling Jorginho and Emerson alone - which still leaves a lot of people that we can still sell to raise funds for improvements in other areas

I think this one is in bag now, and it will give us a wealth of quality options going forward next season. 

Then we can switch our attentions to defenders and possibly a new goalkeeper. 

 

Only a matter of time before this goes through, I just hope we put all our efforts and focus onto sorting out the GK/Defence situation, because we seem plenty stacked for midfield and attacking options now

In a 4-2-3-1 he would be central attacking midfielder, Mount can play deeper so yes we should see to sell some of our midfielders, Barkley comes to mind but he has been good recently...Kante is injury prone...

He's the Muller-kind of player. You can stick him anywhere CF, SS, RW,  LW,  CAM,  CM. 

He's got the height, vision, speed, technical ability and a football IQ. 

You could say, if Germans could make a football player in a factory,  Havertz would be it.

I wonder what number would he take...If we sell Barkley the number 8 fits, 11 is the number of Werner, 10 would maybe be Kai's if Pulisic or Ziyech are ok with it?

Leverkusen want him to play in Europa League for them and we are willing to negotiate on this point to bring the deal to a close.

This would be a fantastic signing. 

Chelsea would be leading the EPL in goals next season.

Werner, Ziyech, Havertz and we are not done yet.

If someone suggested that on here they'd probably be told to get of football manager and come back to real-life. It would be a huge step in the right direction, made even better by the fact that most clubs are unable to significantly strengthen so we'll have every chance to really catch up to the likes of City and Liverpool.

Well, it seems to be really close now. We probably haven't had a transfer this massive since Torres. Hope Havertz doesn't follow in his footsteps 😂

Timo and Kai also have a massive resale value. These deals in my book are no-brainers bar FFP. Not saying we will sell them any time soon. Just saying these are very nice investments.

        Ziyech - Havertz -Pulisic

              Werner/Giroud

If we sort the goalkeeper and defence situation out as well this window i'd argue that team there is ready for a title challenge next season already. Might need some time to bring it all together so don't think we'll win it but we should be able to be up there with the best if we can field a side like that.
