Armando Broja

I'm extremely surprised that Broja has been afforded fewer minutes on the pitch than even Pulisic this season to date ...

He is not a big name. Auba, Havertz and Sterling are.

I would rather Potter start Broja, and keep starting him.

Yeah same of course, but he is also young. No harm in being on the bench sometimes.

Just pleased he is coming off the bench instead Havertz.

A game later he starts Havertz and leaves Broja on the bench.

All that matters is their last name.

Yep, but i cant complain.

Havertz was very good.

Sublime goal, really was. Won't get too excited Kai did that though. Salzburg gave us a lot of room we don't get in the PL.

I am guessing this game means Kai is getting some starts. Let's see him show up for Brighton, Arsenal and Newcastle if he does.

I think Havertz will sleep through the Brighton game, may show up big time against Arsenal since it's a big game. Brojas will be a different and harder physical challenge to defenders than Auba, I would start him this week. Bring on Auba if it's needed, think Auba took too much for granted lately

I'd rather have him starting alongside Havertz from this point on, problem is you leave Auba in the bench for 2 games in a row and wemost likely lose him for the rest of the season and he'll sulk till he leaves as he's not a guaranteed starter.

I really really hated the Auba signing since the board was thinking of replacing Tuchel anyway. Should've just invested everything in a midfielder and relied on any expiring contract out there like Diego as backup for Broja.

I'm not seeing the excitement around this guy at all. I know people are desperate for some spark to come from the squad, but I'm not seeing it. He looks slow and clumsy. More like a big lump for a lower side than for a team like Chelsea.

Armando - I know you read these forums.  I can only apologize that Auba is starting over you -  a damn traffic cone offers more than Auba.

He should start the next two games - no questions asked.

This guy is not the future of Chelsea. He will never be the elite striker we need Southampton is he's level

How you can judge that on how little chance he’s given I don’t know.

He’s young and hungry and needs to be given a proper chance to prove his worth. The type of player I could see thriving with the right service.

He scored a couple of goals for Southampton then it all dried up couldn't  get his game let that sink in on the bench for Southampton for most of the season. Its typical of us we loan a player out he scores a couple of goals and he becomes a great prospect. In my opinion for where we want to be we need a top top striker he simply is not it and will never be it

Worst take I've seen today and that takes some doing

Alright, so what is he great at? At the moment, all I see is him being praised for being from the academy. I have not really seen anyone specifically say where his qualities are,

Ok, so you said he's slow and clumsy which is complete bollocks and obviously not true. He runs at defenders and can actually go past them, very good finisher but hard to do that when you've got a bunch of donkeys just hoofing the ball up and hoping for the best. He's had one start and you're already writing him off, it's just typical short termist Chelsea fan sh*te
