October 8, 20223 yr If that goal today is what we can expect every 103 minutes we will have a legend on our hands, we have got him for six more years either way.

October 9, 20223 yr What a way to mark his first goal for the club. I was delighted when that goal went in with him being from an academy and a striker with so much promise who I desperately want to succeed here. When they did that VAR call, the way I was expecting the worse only to get the confirmation of the goal was the biggest relief of my life. Will be nice to see him get a start soon though, as much as a good impact player he is.

With Potter starting Havertz as his striker without Aubameyang, and Kai scoring, though he could and should have had at least 1 if not 2 more, leads me to think he is Aubas backup and Broja is number 3 in the thinking. Hope I am wrong there. Villa away looks the perfect game to start Armando in to me.

October 19, 20223 yr I see so much potential in him, he has deceptively quick pace, he can finish, he can dribble. From tonight I can see his inexperience, best thing we can do is give him more starts and we’re laughing .
October 19, 20223 yr Eerily similar vibes to Mount and James’ bedding in period, raw.. but you can see the hallmarks, only disadvantage for him is the circumstances compared to Lamps with the transfer ban but thankfully Potter knows ball.

Needs to work on his left foot.

Whilst it might not fit the model and today's philosophy of how a team should set up, i would like to see Broja and Auba together for a while. I think he could learn a lot about box craft and setting yourself quickly to get shots away from Auba. We played two advanced tonight, being Broja and Havertz, so Broja and Auba could work with Broja working slightly off of Auba but learning
October 19, 20223 yr Still raw but causes problems. Shouldn’t have to wait long for his next start. If a choice out the two, should play more than Havertz from now on.
October 19, 20223 yr I thought he had a good game and was the best of the attacking lot. He’s raw and needs to improve some aspects, but certainly gave some trouble to the Brentford defenders. I hope that he gets more starts and soon rather than later.

I fear he may be in the "you have to look amazing right away" to get more chances. Would not be surprised of Havertz goes up top next time Auba does not start.

He did well enough, but I think I would rather see Aubameyang start games with Broja coming on second half, as I think with his pace, he will trouble defenders on weary legs. but it has to be 30 minutes +, not 5-10 minutes at the end of the game.
October 20, 20223 yr Apparently Ac Milan are very interested on Broja and have had their representatives in London to discuss a 35 million euro move. I would be disappointed if he left because you can clearly see that he is humble and talented. When he missed that opportunity to pass to Mount it was lack of experience, although he did create a great opportunity for Havertz from hardwork and perseverance. Along with Chalobah, I thought he was very good against Brentford, just a bit unlucky not to get a goal.

Broja already has so much more to his game than Aubameyang has now. Strength, aerial ability, hold up play, works hard and of course has the one thing all defenders fear.. real pace. We should be letting him loose, not holding him back. God knows we need a striker with those assets. We are drooling over Aubameyang only because we have had so much garbage up front, for so long, the moment a 33 year old comes a long who actually looks like he can finish something other than his lunch, we start feeling giddy with euphoria. But he won't finish every chance and from what we've so far his all round play, and also his work rate IMO, leaves an awful lot to be desired.
