Give Broja the amount of chances those two underperformers get based on their price tags and I think we will be impressed with what he offers. I’d bin off Ziyech, Havz, and Pulisic, Convert Werner to a wide player, because we know he’s a prolific chance creator, get in Nkunku and play Broja as well, Mount, Kova and Gallagher in midfield

Havertz playing there is really our plan B though, because our Lukaku signing failed so badly. I'm pretty sure the original idea was not to play Havertz at centre forward. I'm stil not sure why we bought Werner, but we didn't give him that many chances as centre forward before putting him out on the wing. We are a bit more forgiving on our wingers than centre forward. That said, Broja is more raw than Havertz and Werner. Rightly or wrongly he is not going to get the same chances from Tuchel.

I'm not having a dig at Ballack & Blue but f**king hell. Werner has been total sh*te no matter where he has played. If you can't control a football 9 times out of 10 you are gonna struggle. And boy, he has struggled. He is the first player we need to off-load this summer.

If I was rating first touches I'd put Harold Shipman's as more controlled. Agree that he should be top priority to move on. He may return to Germany or go to Italy and rebuild his career but he'll never make the grade in England. He just isn't cut our for the style of the Premier League.

I am a fully paid up member of the Werner Fan club, but anyone suggesting he should play wide as a winger are out of their minds. He cant dribble, beat a man, struggles to control and pass creatively. The only way to succeed with Timo is to play a game with quick transitions to attack, getting the ball to him early, through the middle, for him to run onto. Give him 3 clear cut chances in this manner and he will get you a goal. That's the formula. Unfortunately, this is never going to be the case in the EPL, and certainly not for a team like us that holds possession and builds up slowly against teams sitting deep.

June 7, 20224 yr I know we are in rumour central, but hope there's nothing in this- https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/live/article-10891885/Transfer-news-LIVE-West-Ham-join-race-sign-Chelsea-striker-Armando-Broja.html

If he decides he wants Broja involved and will give him chances to play he will stay, if not I see us selling him this summer.
June 7, 20224 yr West Ham playing hard ball over Rice, quite simple charge them double for Broja if Tuchel doesn't want him. If they don't want to pay it he can go on loan elsewhere.

Harold Shipman was efficient and lethal, something which all our strikers lack We should never sell Broja, he has a long term contract, If Werner and Lukaku leave he should come in as a replacement with a possible signing. Then we would have 3 strikers
June 7, 20224 yr I'm happy going into the season with Kai and Broja as our only two strikers tbh. There's no one i see on the market that's worth spending money on at the moment. Sort out the CB's CM's and wingers (Kounde, Bissouma, De Ligt and Dembele). We can then re-evaluate how we're doing in January/summer.

Juve are supposedly only willing to let De Ligt go for his 120mill release clause. Apparently they are the only Italian club without money worries.
